WEEK 15 (FINAL) MOd1CLZ
Lead by the play of Evgeni Malkin - six goals and five assists in his past seven games - the Wild Ducks are playing their very best hockey of the season, a league-high 68.2 point week drawing the seven-time FHL Cup Champion to within 17.9 points of first place.

Wild Ducks: 68.2
Silicon Valley Slashers: 43.0

The Silicon Valley Slashers never had a chance in this non-divisional mismatch, the Wild Ducks rolling to a 25.2 point victory. With the win the Ducks improved to 10-5, still comfortably atop the Grimson division. The Silicon Valley Slashers and their H2H playoff hopes took a direct hit, GM Murphy's team now sitting one game outside of post-season play with a record of 6-9.

Misconducts: 56.7
Ice Hogs: 43.0

The second place Misconducts hammered the first place Ice Hogs, GM Smalley's squad cruising to the impressive win. With are record of 12-3, the Misconducts remain the best H2H team in the land. More importantly, the Misconducts are getting yet another whiff of the FHL Cup, now just 8.6 points from the top. The Ice Hogs slipped to 9-5-1 with the loss, still 2.5 games better than the closest challenger in the sad sack Probert division.

Polar Bears: 60.2
Between the Pipes: 35.0

The Polar Bears were in desperate need of a win and they got it, thumping Between the Pipes. The H2H playoffs remain a possibility for GM Elya's team, a 5-10 record placing the Bears two games outside of the post-season. Between the Pipes are now 5-10, and like the Bears, two games behind the last playoff spot. Overall, the Pipes slipped even deeper into the basement, now 41.5 points behind the 11th place team.

Ice Cats: 55.4
Boulder Flyers: 52.7

The Boulder Flyers made a mad dash to the finish line, bagging 14.0 points on Sunday. The Flyers however would lose yet again, the Ice Cats escaping with a 2.7 point win. The Flyers are now 3-12 on the year, the league's worst record. The Ice Cats improved to 7-8 - tied with two other teams, yet outside of the playoffs based on tiebreakers (H2H record versus opponent and position in overall standings). In the Cup-chase standings, the Cats begin Week 16 in 7th place, 62.9 points behind the money.

Central Red Army: 61.8
Bluliners: 48.7

The Central Red Army had no trouble with the Bluliners, GM Buker's team improving to 10-5 with the win; two games back of the Misconducts in the Domi division. The overall standings find the Army nestled in 4th place, 55.6 points out of first; 37.7 points behind the 3rd place Wild Ducks and it's $100.00 paycheck. The Bluliners slumped to 7-8, still 2.5 games behind the Ice Hogs in the Probert division. Lodged in 5th place overall, the Bluliners now trail the front-running Ice Hogs by 63.4 points.

SC Cobras: 42.0
Badger Bob: 35.9

The SC Cobras didn't play especially well but they produced enough points to send Badger Bob packing, the snakes improving to 9-5-1; now 2.5 games behind the Domi-leading Misconducts. The SC Cobras depart Week 15 in 6th place overall, 79.5 rows behind the first row Ice Hogs. Badger Bob lost for the 8th time, their record still playoff worthy at 7-8. Overall-wise, the Bobs remain stuck in 9th place, 120.8 points behind the best of the FHL.
