WEEK 8 (FINAL) 3sXvg5w
Signed to a tryout contract at the beginning of the week, Mattias Ekholm will probably be sticking around after his game on Sunday, the unheralded Vegas Vipers defenseman propeling his team past the Mooses with his timely 6.0 point (1g, 1a) performance.

Vegas Vipers: 43.5
Mooses: 41.6

Trailing most of the week, the Vegas Vipers rallied past the Mooses on the final day to claim their league-best sixth win of the season. With the victory the Vipers remain on top of the Grimson division, tied with Badger Bob. The Mooses stumbled to 2-6 in defeat, yet remain hopeful as they sit only two games behind the Domi division leaders.

Badger Bob: 62.3
Wild Ducks: 42.1

Badger Bob dusted the Ducks to retain a share of the Grimson division lead, the Bobs improving to 6-2 with the comprehensive win. The playoff hopes of the Wild Ducks took a serious hit with the loss, GM Collard's team falling to 3-5, now three games behind the Vipers and Bobs in the Grimson.

Ice Hogs: 67.6
Bluliners: 48.0

The Ice Hogs posted the best score of the week, routinely knocking off the league's best team. With the statement win the Hogs improved to 5-3 and remain one game back of the Ice Cats in the Probert. Despite their overall success, the Bluliners continue to have trouble locating wins, GM Hamilton's team now officially average with a record of 4-4.

Ice Cats: 65.8
Central Red Army: 37.4

In addition to putting heat on the Bluliners in the race for the FHL Cup, another stellar week has provided the Cats with their sixth win of the season; their 6-2 mark tops among the four Probert division teams. The Central Red Army slumped to 4-4 but remarkably remain tied for the Domi division lead; a division that no longer houses a team with a winning record.

SC Cobras: 56.6
Boulder Flyers: 34.7

One week after posting the league's best score, the Boulder Flyers posted the worst; GM Morgan's schizophrenic squad succumbing to the opportunistic SC Cobras. With the loss the Flyers fell to 2-6 on the year; four games behind the Probert division leaders. The SC Cobras are also 2-6 but remain in the playoff hunt as they now sit only two games behind the leaders in the disastrous Domi.

Polar Bears: 52.5
Misconducts: 50.4

The Polar Bears kept their Grimson title hopes alive by defeating the Misconducts, the Bears improving to 4-4 with the upset win. The Misconducts meanwhile saw their once sterling record take another hit, GM Smalley's squad now just 4-4 on the year, tied with the Central Red Army for the Domi division lead.
