Wallowing in last place for much of the year, few paid attention to the two-time champion Ice Hogs. That could change during the second half of the season, a Roberto Luongo shutout drawing GM Henry's surging team to within 89.5 points of first place; 58.2 points shy of a season-ending payday (3rd place).Ice Hogs: 59.0
Wild Ducks: 24.1The Ice Hogs were the best team of the week, rudely dismissing the deflated Wild Ducks. The victory leveled the Ice Hogs H2H record at 7-7, GM Henry's invigorated squad suddenly relevant after a mostly irrelevant start. The Wild Ducks meanwhile have little to smile about, GM Collard's storied franchise still lodged in 11th place overall, their H2H record now a league worst 4-10.
Silicon Valley Slashers: 53.4
Misconducts: 43.0After a lighting-fast start, the Slashers slowed but ultimately collected enough points to defeat the hard-charging Misconducts. The victory left GM Murphy with a H2H record of 5-9, his first-year team still in the thick of the FHL Cup chase, in 4th place, 33.5 points back. The Misconducts H2H title hopes were dashed, a 7-7 mark dropping them four games back. Overall, the Misconducts are still hot-and-heavy, in 3rd place, seated just 31.3 rows behind the first place Bears.
Polar Bears: 41.8
Between the Pipes: 31.7The Polar Bears won for the 11th time this season, once again leading the H2H division by two games. In search of their first FHL championship, the Bears are proving to be a tough team to catch, GM Elya's squad in first place since December 4th; their lead still generous at 20.6. Between the Pipes meanwhile are tracking in the wrong direction, GM Millers Colorado-heavy squad sinking to 7-7, their overall deficit now 75.5 points deep.
SC Cobras: 48.7
Badger Bob: 44.8The SC Cobras handed Badger Bob just their 5th loss of the season, improving to 7-7 with the tough Week 14 win. Overall, the Cobras remain in 2nd place, the Polar Bears still within sight, just 20.6 points in the distance. The Bobs were stung by the loss, GM Chester's team slipping to 9-5, their H2H deficit now twice the size. The overall standings find Badger Bob still in "in fashion," just 60.4 steps behind the division leader.
Bluliners: 42.5
Ice Cats: 37.1The Bluliners sputtered on Friday but their "Saturday thru Thursday" performance was good enough, GM Hamilton's team improving to 7-7. The Cup-chase standings find the Bluliners in 5th place, their 5th FHL Cup still within sight, trailing the league-leading Polar Bears by 35.0 points. The Ice Cats continue to stand in the middle ground, GM Cutshall's team in 7th place, 63.2 points back. The H2H picture is noticeably better, a 9-5 record placing the Ice Cats in a tie for 2nd place, two games behind the Bears.
Boulder Flyers: 40.1
Redliners: 34.4The Boulder Flyers fired blanks on Friday, as did the Redliners, GM Morgan escaping with his 7th win of the season. Overall, the Boulder Flyers continue to reside in the FHL's southern hemisphere, the 10th place team now 99.7 points behind the Bears; 68.4 points shy of a season-ending paycheck. The Redliners sunk to 4-10 in defeat, their yearly tally of 549.1 points leaving them in last place overall, now 150.8 points short of the FHL summit.
