Picked from the scrap heap on Saturday, Jason Garrison (left) collected 6.0 points (3 assists) for his new Misconducts team.Misconducts: 58.3
Ice Hogs: 48.9
Polar Bears: 40.4While all the attention is focused on the yo-yo race for first place between the Polar Bears and Bluliners, the Misconducts are inching closer to the top. After another 50+ point week, the Midas touch Misconducts are just 28.5 behind the front runner in the race for the FHL Cup. In the head-to-head-to-head race ($25 to the winner) GM Smalley's Ovechkin-lead franchise are tied with the Bluliners with a record of 6-4. By falling to the Misconducts, the Ice Hogs slipped to 4-6; the Polar Bears, now in second place overall, are 3-7.
Boulder Flyers: 50.5
Ice Cats: 49.5
Bluliners: 49.2The Boulder Flyers didn't notch a point on Friday but the damage done during the first six days would prove to be just enough. GM Morgan's now-flying birds improved to 4-6 with the victory and currently sit two games back of the head-to-head-to-head division leaders. With the loss, the Ice Cats fell to a league-worst 1-9, tied for last with the also 1-9 Redliners. Despite being the caboose in this three-man battle, the Bluliners, 6-4, earned enough Friday points to leapfrog the Polar Bears in
the overall standings.
Wild Ducks: 44.5
Redliners: 40.8
Dream Team: 39.6With 15 weeks remaining in the season the Wild Ducks continue to search for a ladder in which to escape the FHL cellar. For now GM Collard is happy with the $3.00 win, his team's record 3-7. The 8th place overall Redliners slumped to 1-9 but did steer clear of the FHL cellar by hanging with the Ducks. The Dream Team continue to shine in the overall standings as GM Austin's team sits in 4th place. In the head-to-head-to-head race the DT's are humming a different tune, their record miserable at 2-8; four games back of the division-leading Bluliners and Misconducts.
