Seemingly out of nowhere, the Bluliners snatched the Best Week Bonus from the Wild Ducks, GM Hamilton’s surging squad overcoming the Ducks lightening-fast start to secure their 3rd $10.00 prize; goaltender Darcy Kuemper a big part of the Bluliners success as he backstopped a brilliant 46 save, 9.2 point shutout on the final day of the week.Bluliners: 86.1
Misconducts: 49.4
The Bluliners kept their playoff hopes alive by thrashing the Misconducts, the team improving to 9-11. While the Bluliners were happy to receive yet another $10.00 prize, the team did fall just short of the current $20.00
Best Week of the Season leader - the Boulder Flyers and their 88.8 point Week 7. The Misconducts stumbled to 12-8 on the year, the veteran franchise still heading to the playoffs despite the lopsided loss.
Polar Bears: 37.6
SC Cobras: 20.9The Polar Bears posted the second worst score of the week - but still escaped with a hugely needed win; the Bears still with a paw in the postseason picture, their record all square at 10-10. The SC Cobras were injured beyond repair, a week-worst score saddling the limping but still playoff-bound team with a still-great record of 12-8.
Cherry Pickers: 79.3
Boulder Flyers: 75.1The Cherry Pickers are sitting atop the Probert division after upsetting the Probert-leading Boulder Flyers, the in-form Pickers nearing a playoff lock as they improved to 11-9. The Boulder Flyers suffered another close-but-no-cigar defeat, the team, despite playing well, falling to 11-9 for the season.
Central Red Army: 73.2
Wild Ducks: 80.1Roman Josi (2g, 2a) netted 15.0 of the Central Red Army’s league-best 26.0 points, the machine-puck-firing team falling just short of what would have been a monumental comeback. The loss erased the Army from the playoff picture but the 73.2 point week has placed the squad in the thick of the Top 3 money-chase. The Wild Ducks improved to 10-10 on the year, the next two weeks to decide the Ducks seven-team playoff fate.
Baba Booey: 72.1
Ice Hogs: 56.5
The up-and-down-and-up-and-down season of the Ice Hogs is now permanently down, the team, 8-12, no longer a contender for postseason play. Baba Booey now owns the best record in the league (tied with two others) the best of the Grimson division improving to 12-8.
Rocky Rocks: 47.0
Lumberjacks: 67.7The Lumberjacks needed to win and they did, the playoff-hopeful squad improving to 10-10 on the year - their postseason hopes likely needing two wins over the final two weeks of the regular H2H season. Rocky Rocks is still in possession of the league’s worst record, the already-golfing franchise now 7-13 on the year.
