Bluliners: 70.7The Cherry Pickers finished fast but they couldn’t overcome their slow start, the Pickers slumping to 7-8; the one-time Probert division leader dispatched to 2nd place. The Bluliners needed a win more than any other, so the upset victory was sweet music to GM Hamilton’s ears, the Bluliners, 6-9, seated two games behind the Probert division leader.
Ice Hogs: 68.9
Wild Ducks: 77.1The Ice Hogs winning streak has come to an end, the streaky team (understatement) now 7-8 after falling to the Wild Ducks. Despite the loss, the Hogs are still in the hunt for the Probert division crown (and an automatic berth in the seven-team playoffs) the squad sitting just one game behind the Probert-best Flyers. The Wild Ducks improved to 7-8, the victory keeping the squad in the Grimson title conversation, the Ducks now parked just two games behind the division-leading Booeys.
