WEEK 7 (thru Wednesday) ZNV2wra
A full slate of games bore witness to a full range of emotions; notably ”exuberance” in the Bluliners after Leon Draisaitl (2g, 2a, 10pts) lifted the four-time FHL Cup champion into 1st place overall - and “gutted disappointment, shame and embarrassment” on the part of the Lumberjacks, the second-year franchise unceremoniously dumped into the FHL basement.

Bluliners: 30.4
Boulder Flyers: 46.9

The Bluliners are the best team in the league, the squad netting 24.9 points on Wednesday. That’s the good news. The bad: the Bluliners are still getting their ass kicked by the bubbling Boulder Flyers, a league-best 26.9 points placing the Flyers in 5th place overall; 16.5 points clear of the Bluliners and now only 31.1 points from the top rung of the FHL ladder.

Wild Ducks: 16.4
Lumberjacks: 11.3

Last week the Lumberjacks posted the lowest score. Three days into this week, the Lumberjacks are again holding the lowest score; the struggling franchise and their shoddy play dispatched to the far corner of the dank FHL cellar. The Jacks are also glaring at a H2H deficit, the Wild Ducks - by netting 12.4 points - now enjoying a 5.1 point lead.

Polar Bears: 20.7
Baba Booey: 30.9

Baba Booey have their eyes on 1st place overall after a 22.0 point Day 3 dropped the team just 1.8 points short of the FHL Penthouse. The solid outing also provided the team with a solid advantage, the Booeys now leading the Polar Bears by 10.2 points with only Friday and the weekend left to be played.

SC Cobras: 23.6
Rocky Rocks: 22.8

The SC Cobras have wiggled their way back into this match, the team outpointing Rocky Rocks 18.6 to 10.6; the comeback Cobras leading by 0.8 points ahead of a no-game Thursday.

Central Red Army: 15.5
Cherry Pickers: 20.8

The Cherry Pickers were shoved into 3rd place after scoring just 9.1 points, the team now trailing the 1st place Bluliners by 7.4. The Pickers also saw the size of their H2H deficit increase, GM Recoskie’s squad now trailing the Central Red Army and their 13.5 point effort by 5.3.

Misconducts: 23.0
Ice Hogs: 20.1

The win-starved Ice Hogs posted 9.2 points - not a lot but enough to work their way back into this crucial, must-win H2H match; the malfunctioning Misconducts lead reduced to 2.9 points after netting a league-worst 4.0 points on Wednesday.
