WEEK 3 (thru Monday) Gye23LX
There appears to be no slowing down Alexander Ovechkin, the 36 year-old graybeard depositing his NHL-best 6th and 7th goals of the season, the Wild Ducks departing Monday with a league-best 11.0 points.

Baba Booey: 8.8
Wild Ducks: 11.0

A key Grimson division clash as the Wild Ducks and Baba Booey begin play with identical records, both teams 1-1. Based on their position in the overall standings, GM Collard’s crew takes to the ice as the favorite - the Ducks currently seated in 5th place overall while the Booeys occupy slot No. 8.

SC Cobras: 2.0
Cherry Pickers: 5.0

The Belle Tire Marquee Match of the Week®™ as the 2nd place Cherry Pickers travel to sunny California to battle the 1st place SC Cobras. Both teams can brag of perfect 2-0 record; the Cobras the best of the Domi division while the Pickers sit atop the Probert. There are only three undefeated teams. There will be less than three when this match runs its course.

Lumberjacks: 2.8
Bluliners: 5.0

The Lumberjacks have been perfect thus far, the 4th place (overall) squad and their 2-0 record sitting alone on top of the Grimson division. The Bluliners, in 7th place, will be trying to knock the Jacks off their perch; the Probert division squad, 1-1, hoping to rebound from last week’s subpar performance.

Misconducts: 4.0
Rocky Rocks: 1.0

A pivotal Domi division pairing as the 8th place Misconducts play host to Rocky Rocks, the last place team. Despite being lodged in the basement, the Rocks have won a match, the teetering team beginning play with a record of 1-1. The same can’t be said of the Misconducts, the win-parched squad still thirsting for their first win of the season.

Polar Bears: 2.0
Boulder Flyers: 9.1

A non-divisional pairing of two teams sporting the same 1-1 record. The Boulder Flyers, buried in 11th place, haven’t been good. The  3rd place Polar Bears, also 1-1, have been far better. Who will win? FHL pundits are giving the edge to the “have been far better” Bears.

Central Red Army: 10.6
Ice Hogs: 6.0

The Ice Hogs and Central Red Army have played a combined four matches. None of the matches have resulted in wins - the 0-2 Hogs hoping for better as they travel to New Jersey to play the 0-2 Army. A lot is (already) at stake - the loser of this contest to be saddled with an 0-3 mark and a steep uphill climb.
