WEEK 14 (thru Thursday) Empty
PostSubject: WEEK 14 (thru Thursday)   WEEK 14 (thru Thursday) EmptyFri Apr 16, 2021 11:04 am

WEEK 14 (thru Thursday) CvNzNfx
On the back of a league-best 17.7 point performance, the Ice Hogs roared into 2nd place; Andrei Vasilevskiy leading the Day 4 assault with 36 saves, an assist and 6.6 points - Vasilevskiy’s NHL-best 26th win of the season - the Hogs now trailing the Cherry Pickers and what would be their 3rd FHL Cup championship by only 27.9 points.

Misconducts: 18.5
Ice Hogs: 33.7

The Misconducts carded 6.0 points but the number did absolutely nothing to enhance GM Smalley’s win-chances, the playoff-wobbling franchise now trailing the Ice Hogs by 15.2 points.

Bluliners: 25.5
Boulder Flyers: 27.1

With the Bluliners playing short handed - both Auston Matthews and Philipp Grubauer parked on the shelf - the Boulder Flyers skated past their Canuck division rival; Kyle Connor (2g, 1a) collecting 7.0 of the team’s 11.0 points, the Flyers beginning play of Friday with a 1.6 point lead.

Rocky Rocks: 26.8
Baba Booey: 24.0

There were plenty of points to be had on Thursday as Baba Booey netted 12.1 while Rocky Rocks - thanks in large part to Artemi Panarin (2g, 1a) - collected 11.0. With only Friday and the weekend left to be played, the Rocks advantage is 2.8.

Wild Ducks: 15.0
Central Red Army: 37.1

This highly anticpated contest has unexpectedly digressed into a “First and Worst” pairing, the Central Red Army, thus far, netting the best “thru Thursday” score while the Wild Ducks - the winner of last week’s Best Week Bonus - thus far, posting the lowest score the week; the contrasting numbers providing GM Buker and his trampling troops with a 22.1 point lead.

SC Cobras: 30.6
Polar Bears: 19.0

Brad Marchand (2g) potted 4.0 of his team’s 12.2 points as the SC Cobras continue to toy with their Yankee division opponent, GM Murphy’s squad now leading the Polar Bears by 11.6 points ahead of a typically light five-game Friday.

Cherry Pickers: 22.2
Lumberjacks: 23.3

This pairing of two of the best teams in the league was expected to be close. It wasn’t close early but it’s close now; the Cherry Pickers with a bead on their opponent after outnumbering the Lumberjacks 10.2 points to 4.0 on Thursday, the Jacks leading this Recoskie Rumble by 1.1.
