WEEK 7 (thru Tuesday) ZZR3cRz
With 6 goals and 17 assists in his past 12 games (including 1g, 3a, last night) there appears to be no stopping Patrick Kane - the crafty winger again leading his team to a league-best effort (20.0 points) - the streaking Bluliners roaring into 2nd pace overall, just 8.2 points shy of the now-trembling 1st place Cherry Pickers.

Rocky Rocks: 17.1
Bluliners: 30.8

Rocky took one squarely on the chin but the second-year franchise didn’t hit the canvas (though their knees did buckle slightly), the Rocks still very much in this match after posting 8.0 points of their own, the Bluliners lead a retrievable 13.7 points with five days remaining in the week.

Polar Bears: 11.5
Ice Hogs: 17.4

The Ice Hogs doubled-up their opponent on Tuesday, GM Henry’s squad outscoring the Polar Bears 5.0 to 2.5; the shallow number dropping the Bears into 5th place overall. All told, the Hogs H2H advantage swelled slightly - the team leading by 5.9 points ahead of a sizeable seven-game Wednesday.

Baba Booey: 10.4
Cherry Pickers: 10.0

In anticipation of another assault, the Cherry Pickers are battening down the hatches - the 1st place team in danger of surrendering their 1st place lead. The Pickers are also in danger of absorbing their first loss of the season, the unusually quiet squad with only 10.0 points through Wednesday; the lip-licking Booey’s leading by 0.4.

Lumberjacks: 11.0
Boulder Flyers: 21.9

For precautionary reasons, GM Morgan spent the night in the hospital - the Boulder Flyers owner passing out when told his team had scored 18.9 points. The atypically large number has provided the last place team with a rare double-digit lead, the Flyers now 10.9 points better than the head-scratching Lumberjacks.

Central Red Army: 15.3
Misconducts: 15.1

Goaltender Linus Ullmark was near-perfect in stopping 41 of 42 shots, the Misconducts’ backstop contributing 4.1 of his team’s 12.1 points - GM Smalley’s squad now standing on the doorstep of the lead, trailing the Central Red Army by a mere 0.2.

SC Cobras: 7.4
Wild Ducks: 14.5

The Wild Ducks posted just 3.0 points but they still managed to gain ground on their “Hey, what time does Tuesday start?” opponent; the SC Cobras trudging through a dismal 2.0 point outing. Despite the Cobras lackluster effort, this match is still up for grabs - the Ducks "thru Tuesday" cushion just 7.1 points thick.
