| Subject: WEEK 14 (thru Thursday) Fri Jan 03, 2020 2:14 pm | |
| In 10th place at the start of the week - just four days ago - the ridiculously-hot Boulder Flyers are now seated in 3rd place overall, William Nylander (2g, 1a) ripping 7.0 of his team’s once-again league-best 28.0 points, the previously out-of-it Flyers making an unexpected return to the 2019-20 FHL Cup conversation.Polar Bears: 21.4 Boulder Flyers: 73.3 “I know, I know, lemme finish eating” mumbled the Fat Lady when contacted by the FHL, the plumb princess making the short trip to New Baltimore, Michigan to belt out a tune for GM Elya, his wide-eyed Polar Bears trailing the bolting Flyers by 51.9 points. Misconducts: 23.2 Rocky Rocks: 26.8 Defender Shea Theodore (1g, 1a) netted 6.0 points for his Rocky Rocks team but the performance was countered by the 7.0 point game of the Misconducts, Evgenii Dadonov (2g, 1a) - the Rocks failing to extend their lead, their cushion now 3.6 points thin skating into the final three days of the week. SC Cobras: 30.0 Cherry Pickers: 35.8The SC Cobras played well on Thursday, Max Pacioretty (2g, 4.0 pts) guiding his team to a 14.4 point performance. The Cherry Pickers were better, Sean Couturier (2g, 1a) netting 7.0 of his team’s 19.5 points, the perky Pickers now 5.8 points better than the Cobras. Wild Ducks: 40.5 Vegas Vipers: 20.3 Defenseman Cale Makar (1g, 1a) was good for his Vegas Vipers team, the 21 year-old netting 6.0 of his team’s 16.3 points. The Wild Ducks collected 12.9 points, yet despite their in-the-red Thursday, still lead this pivotal Grimson division clash by a comfortable 20.2. Ice Hogs: 29.2 Central Red Army: 22.0 A points machine of late, Alex Pietrangelo (1g, 1a) carded another 6.0 on Thursday, his Ice Hogs team now leading the win-hungry, points-poor Central Red Army by 7.2 heading into a light two-game Friday. Badger Bob: 16.9 Bluliners: 38.5The lowest score of the week belongs to Badger Bob, the of-late Jekyll and Hyde franchise netting only 16.9 points through the first four days of the week - the paltry performance dropping the Bobs 21.6 points behind the lip-licking Bluliners.
