On pace to finish the season with 30 goals and 114 points, no one was surprised when defenseman John Carlson netted two goals and 9.0 points on Wednesday - his Misconducts team bolting into fourth place overall, GM Smalley now just 46.5 steps from the hallowed halls (and fully-stocked bar) of the FHL Penthouse.

Boulder Flyers: 18.7­
With John Carlson in full Paul Coffey-mode, the Boulder Flyers have their work cut out for the them; the Flyers solid 18.7 thru-Wednesday showing currently dwarfed by the Misconducts league-best number.

Cherry Pickers: 9.1
Wild Ducks: 18.0
Alexander Ovechkin and Auston Matthews were locked and loaded but the pistol failed to discharge, the Wild Ducks literally pointless on Wednesday, their lead over the Cherry Pickers reduced to 8.9 points.

Vegas Vipers: 12.4
Central Red Army: 8.0
The Vegas Vipers netted a single point, as did the Central Red Army - the Army’s deficit still 4.4 points with now, only four days remaining in the week.

SC Cobras: 17.0
Badger Bob: 10.0­
There was nothing to see here as both Badger Bob and the SC Cobras were held in check, the Cobras still tracking toward an upset win as they skate into a burly nine-game Thursday.

Bluliners: 15.8
Rocky Rocks: 9.0­
Defender Oscar Klefbom (1g) netted 3.0 of his team’s 6.8 points - the Bluliners gaining ground on Rocky Rocks; the 4-5 B’s now 6.8 points better than the 3-6 Rocks.

Ice Hogs: 12.3
Polar Bears: 7.0­
The Polar Bears potted 2.0 points - which was two points more than their opponent, GM Elya still hopeful as his team now trails the favored Ice Hogs by just 5.3 points.
