WEEK 7 (thru Wednesday) JAxWayR
Joe Pavelski (2g) has put the Wild Ducks in the H2H drivers seat - his surging team now leading the only undefeated team in the league by 12.2 points, the veteran sniper netting 4.0 of the Ducks Wednesday-best 12.9 points.

Badger Bob: 9.7
Wild Ducks: 21.9

It was six up and six down for Badger Bob, but harnessing win No. 7 is proving to be a bit more difficult - the Wild Ducks pelting their opponent with points on Wednesday, the bending Bobs in the rare position of looking up with now, only four days remaining in the week.

Boulder Flyers: 25.0
Bluliners: 9.0

The Bluliners outpointed the Boulder Flyers 5.0 to 4.0 on Thursday - which is a start but they’ll have to be far better if they want to reel-in their fast-starting opponent, the points-munching Flyers still sitting on a thick 16.0 point cushion.

Central Red Army: 11.0
Cherry Pickers: 9.8

The Central Red Army were reassigned on Wednesday as a thin 1.0 point effort dropped the team into 3rd place overall. The paltry performance also allowed the Cherry Pickers to skate closer, the persistent Pickers now trailing the AWOL Army by just 1.2 points.

SC Cobras: 13.0
Rocky Rocks: 21.0

Despite having a subpar record of 2-4, Rocky Rocks is quietly trekking north in the overall standings, the team skating into 5th place on Wednesday. Their 5.0 point Day 3 also placed the Rocks further ahead of their opponent, the first year franchise now leading the SC Cobras by 8.0.

Polar Bears: 7.9
Vegas Vipers: 14.0

The Polar Bears are in last place overall and their “thru Wednesday” score is the league’s worst. As such, GM Miller awoke with a smile on his face this morning, his Vegas Vipers team skating closer to win No. 2, their lead over the hibernating Bears now 6.1.

Ice Hogs: 17.0
Misconducts: 14.5

Wednesday did very little to separate the two combatants as the Misconducts netted 5.4 points; the Ice Hogs, 6.0. With both teams skating toward a relatively light 8-game Thursday, the Hogs advantage remains narrow at 2.5.
