Despite having a subpar record of 2-4, Rocky Rocks is quietly trekking north in the overall standings, the team skating into 5th place on Wednesday. Their 5.0 point Day 3 also placed the Rocks further ahead of their opponent, the first year franchise now leading the SC Cobras by 8.0.

Vegas Vipers: 14.0
The Polar Bears are in last place overall and their “thru Wednesday” score is the league’s worst. As such, GM Miller awoke with a smile on his face this morning, his Vegas Vipers team skating closer to win No. 2, their lead over the hibernating Bears now 6.1.
Ice Hogs: 17.0
Misconducts: 14.5
Wednesday did very little to separate the two combatants as the Misconducts netted 5.4 points; the Ice Hogs, 6.0. With both teams skating toward a relatively light 8-game Thursday, the Hogs advantage remains narrow at 2.5.
