WEEK 6 (thru Thursday) RsCWCYO
All eyes were on Nathan Mackinnon but there was no stopping the 3rd overall draft pick, the Boulder Flyers forward collecting 8.0 (1g, 3a) of his team’s Thursday-best 21.0 points, the Flyers gaining 20.0 points in the race of the FHL Cup; their H2H lead swelling to 13.6 points.

Rocky Rocks: 13.0
Boulder Flyers: 26.6

Sean Monahan (1g, 1a) and Dougie Hamilton (1g) attempted to keep Rocky Rocks in the Thursday game, but their effort was buried by the improved play of the Boulder Flyers, the birds more than doubling the Week 6 output of their rocky opponent.

Cherry Pickers: 30.6
Ice Hogs: 39.2

Frederik Andersen (37 save win) guided the Cherry Pickers to a strong 14.9 number, but the team was unable to gain ground on the feisty Ice Hogs; Braden Holtby (32 save win) propelling the pigs to a 14.2 outing, the Hogs advantage still thick at 8.6 points.

Badger Bob: 36.3
Vegas Vipers: 17.3

With no Boston game on the schedule, the Vegas Vipers used the day to gain ground on their quick-starting opponent, defenseman Cale Makar (1g, 2a) providing 9.0 of his team’s 14.0 points, the Vipe within spitting distance (if you can spit really far) of Badger Bob, their hole still shoulder-deep at 19.0 points.

Central Red Army: 34.5
Bluliners: 19.2

Patrick Kane (1g, 2a, 5.0 pts) powered his Bluliners team to a robust 15.0 point Thursday, the B’s gaining 7.0 points on their mostly-quiet opponent - the Central Red Army skating into a light 4-game Friday with a reduced 15.3 point lead.

Polar Bears: 20.0
Wild Ducks: 20.0

Alexander Ovechkin was able to force a smile from GM Collard as the ageless sniper ripped another 7.0 points (2g, 1a), the Wild Ducks waddling their way back into this pivotal Grimson division duel, the “thru Thursday" score knotted at 20.0.

Misconducts: 27.2
SC Cobras: 25.2

The Misconducts caught and passed the SC Cobras on Thursday, John Carlson (1g, 2a, 9.0 pts) once again doing the wealth of the damage, GM Smalley’s squad nursing a 2.0 point lead with Friday and the weekend remaining in the week.
