Defenseman Miro Heiskanen’s 4th goal of the season was just enough to push Badger Bob past the Wild Ducks in the race for the coveted FHL Cup, Heiskanen’s 3.0 point tally providing the again-in-first-place Bobs with a 2.6 point lead in the overall standings.Badger Bob: 50.9
Misconducts: 41.3
Leading by 9.6 points and with only two games remaining in the week, you’d think Badger Bob had a lock on their 5th win of the season. Not so as one of those two games brings John Carlson to the table, the NHL player of the month more than capable of providing the Misconducts with an improbable come-from-behind win (bet on Badger Bob but be conservative, no “life savings” kinda bet).
Rocky Rocks: 66.6
Central Red Army: 62.0
You’d figure the best score of the week would provide Rocky Rocks with a little more breathing room. Not the case as the Central Red Army continues to annoyingly nip at Rocky’s heels, a 14.4 point evening drawing the persistent Army to within 4.6 points of their nail-chomping opponent.
Bluliners: 25.7
Vegas Vipers: 63.5To no one's surprise, the Vegas Vipers again outpointed the sagging Bluliners, a strong 14.0 point performance providing GM Miller with a jaw-dropping 37.8 point lead - and later today, their first H2H victory of the 2019-20 season.
Wild Ducks: 51.2
Boulder Flyers: 52.3
Defying long odds, the Boulder Flyers caught and passed the undefeated Wild Ducks on Saturday, a rare P.K. Subban goal (rare point, actually) providing the underdog Flyers with a 1.1 point lead with only Ovechkin/Silfverberg (Ducks) And Gaudreau/DeBrincat (Flyers) remaining in the week.
Polar Bears: 30.6
Cherry Pickers: 43.8The Polar Bears pushed back on Saturday (14.4 points) but the Cherry Pickers were able to keep the Bears at bay, defenseman Ivan Provorov (1g, 1a) providing 6.0 of the Pickers 17.7 points, GM Recoskie still tracking toward a hugely important Week 5 win.
Ice Hogs: 44.6
SC Cobras: 30.0
The Ice Hogs fumbled the puck on Saturday, departing the day with a league-worst 4.0 points. The SC Cobras however were unable to capitalize, a not-good-enough 8.0 point effort leaving the Cobras 14.6 points back with only two games remaining in the week.
