| As is always the case, a number of players on playoff-qualified teams will be kicking-back - rested instead of playing - over the crucial final 3 days of the season; a fact that could very well determine - in such a tight race - what team wins money and what team skates away with absolutely nothing. (Please note: Even if they do it very well - like Alexander Ovechkin - the FHL does not award points for kicking-back).The Bout for the MoneyThe Boulder Flyers were denied the chance of potting points when Sean Monahan was rested by his Calgary team. Johnny Gaudreau did play and collected 1.0 point for the Vegas Vipers. The Misconducts didn’t dress anyone (they saved them ALL for Thursday) while the Polar Bears netted 2.0. All told, the Vipers are now just 7.3 points in back of $325.00 while the Polar Bears moved to within 19.0 points of a season-ending $175.00 payday. The Battle for the FHL CupThe Wild Ducks now lead by 67.1 points after netting 6.0 on Wednesday, the damage done by Hurricane Collard in February proving to be entirely unrepairable. The Scrap for the Laughing Bag“Winning the Laughing Bag isn’t all that bad, I mean, it’s kinda cute and it’s funny, if you really think about it - and it’s free, I mean, who doesn’t like free stuff” -- and those are the sounds emanating from the floorboards of the FHL (thought to be the words of GM Chester as no one else is down there).
