WEEK 24 (thru Saturday) Empty
PostSubject: WEEK 24 (thru Saturday)   WEEK 24 (thru Saturday) EmptySun Mar 24, 2019 1:32 pm

WEEK 24 (thru Saturday) AUfrSXx
The Vegas Vipers have made a huge lunge towards the money - a mammoth 30.2 point outing drawing the team to within 16.2 points of $325.00 (2nd place) and 8.3 points of $175.00 (3rd place); Clinton Township native Kyle Connor leading the Saturday Night Massacre with his 3 goal, 1 assist, 12.0 point performance.

The Bout for the Money
While the Vegas Vipers have a lot to be happy about you won’t find GM Henry smiling, his Ice Hogs team tumbling 29.3 points from the green after netting just 4.0 points on Saturday. The Polar Bears managed to hold onto 2nd place with their 13.3 point effort; the Boulder Flyers still parked in 3rd place after netting 10.9.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
If you had a $100.00 to bet on who will win the FHL Cup, hockey prognosticators are still telling you to place your money on the Wild Ducks. They’re also telling you “don’t go shopping for flat screens just yet,” the Ducks overall lead - 111.6 points not that long ago - reduced to 61.3 on Saturday.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
Badger Bob’s quest to remove themselves from the basement took a serious hit on Saturday as Concussion Junction erupted for 18.0 points, the league’s second-best performance placing the Junk a stiff 45.4 points in front of the Saturday-battered Bobs.

WEEK 24 (thru Saturday) 29vvNw1
Patrick Kane and his heavily favored Wild Ducks team are glaring at an unexpected semifinals defeat, the Ducks and their not-good-enough 8.0 point Saturday trailing the Misconducts by 8.7 points with one day remaining in the week.

Semifinals, Playoffs

Misconducts: 43.6
Wild Ducks: 34.9

The Wild Ducks may be down but they’re certainly not out, the best team in the league bringing some heavy hitters to Sunday; the Ducks and their 6-man deployment hoping to overwhelm the 4 players GM Smalley has enlisted to protect his team's single-digit lead.
SUNDAY LINEUP (Wild Ducks: 6 players; Misconducts: 4 players)
Wild Ducks: Patrick Kane, Jonathan Drouin, Evgeny Kuznetzov, Artemi Panarin / Erik Gustafsson / Curtis McElhinney.
Misconducts: Alexander Ovechkin, Justin Williams / Shayne Gostisbehere / Darcy Kuemper. Not playing (injured): Mikko Rantanen.

Boulder Flyers: 37.9
Ice Hogs: 29.1

Trailing by 8.8 points and outgunned 6 men to 3 on Sunday, the Hogs aren’t liking their chances of advancing to the 2018-19 FHL H2H championship match. The Hogs however do have explosive players taking to Sunday’s ice, Alex DeBrincat and Shea Weber - both regular visitors to Bonusland - not yet ready to throw-in the towel.
SUNDAY LINEUP (Boulder Flyers: 6 players; Ice Hogs: 3 players)
Boulder Flyers: Claude Giroux, Brock Boeser, James van Riemsdyk / Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Zach Werenski / Corey Crawford.*
Ice Hogs: Anders Lee, Alex DeBrincat / Shea Weber.
*Start not confirmed at press time.
