With only 10 games played over the past 4 days, it’s been a quiet and sleepy time for both the FHL and NHL <insert drumroll and a deeper voice> but that all changes starting tonight as an 8 game Friday and a 16 game weekend reignites one of the closest races in the 27 year history of the league.Boulder Flyers: 25.2
Polar Bears: 22.4
Currently out of the playoffs, the Polar Bears are in dire need of a win — and they’re a little bit closer to just that after Thursday, a 3.3 point outing drawing GM Elya’s hopeful team to within 2.8.
Concussion Junction: 22.2
Misconducts: 37.8Just inside the playoff picture, Concussion Junction needs a win to avoid being tossed to the postseason curb. With three days remaining in the week a win doesn’t appear likely, the Misconducts now leading this tilt by 15.6.
Wild Ducks: 25.0
Vegas Vipers: 19.1
By netting 5.0 points on Thursday the Wild Ducks moved to within 9.7 points of 1st place. The number also placed GM Collard further ahead of their Week 17 opponent, the Ducks now 5.9 points better than the Vegas Vipers.
Bluliners: 29.3
Badger Bob: 14.0
The lowest score of the week continues to wreak havoc with GM Chester’s plans to crawl back into the playoff conversation, his Badger Bob team trailing the bubbling Bluliners by 15.3 with only three ticks remaining on the Week 17 clock.
Central Red Army: 35.0
Ice Hogs: 27.0The Ice Hogs were one of two teams to depart Thursday empty-handed. As such, the Hogs lost ground to their in-form opponent, the now-in-5th-place Central Red Army currently leading this ruckus by 8.0.
Ice Cats: 24.4
SC Cobras: 35.5
Like the Ice Hogs, the SC Cobras also fired blanks on Thursday. The Ice Cats meanwhile logged a league-best 5.8, the headless Cats still with a chance as they moved to within 11.1 points of a comeback win.
