WEEK 13 (thru Thursday) YXIU6YS
The Misconducts made a return trip to 1st place on Thursday, white-hot Steven Stamkos (2g, 2a) netting 10.0 of his team’s league-best 25.5 points, GM Smalley’s forward-heavy squad once trailing by 5.6, now lead by 5.2.

Misconducts: 25.5
Wild Ducks: 16.2
A battle of division leaders at the Domi-best Misconducts (9-3) faceoff against the Grimson-best Wild Ducks (8-4). At this stage of the season this match represents little more than bragging rights, both teams currently sitting on an obese 3 game lead in their respective divisions.

Ice Hogs: 8.8
Boulder Flyers: 15.7
A hugely important Probert division showdown as the 1st place Boulder Flyers, 8-4, do battle with the 2nd place Ice Hogs, 7-5. If the Flyers win their lead will inflate to 2 games. If Hogs win they’ll be tied for the division lead. Does this match represent the true meaning of the word “pivotal?” The answer to that would be “yes.”

Vegas Vipers: 12.0
Concussion Junction: 16.1
As it pertains to qualifying for postseason play, this match is arguably the most important match of the week - both the Vegas Vipers (4-7-1) and Concussion Junction (5-7) perched precariously on the edge of the playoff bubble. Will the loser be eliminated from playoff contention? Mathematically, no. Everything else, probably yes.

Central Red Army: 17.8
Polar Bears: 18.5
Another battle of losing-record teams - teams that are currently toying with the idea of golfing during postseason play. The Polar Bears are seated last in the Grimson with a record of 4-8. The under-fire Central Red Army’s position isn’t much better, the win-needy team tied for last in the Domi with a mark of 5-7.

Badger Bob: 2.8
Ice Cats: 9.0

Trailing by 3 games in the Grimson, Badger Bob, 5-7, really can’t afford to lose. Trailing by 3 games in the Probert, the Ice Cats, 5-7, really can’t afford to lose. With each match taking on greater importance as the season closes in on it’s second half, a win or loss here could ultimately be labeled “deciding.”

Bluliners: 7.0
SC Cobras: 9.0

The SC Cobras trail the Domi division leader by 3 games - their record still playoff worthy at 6-6. The Bluliners sit just inside the frame of the playoff picture with a record of 5-6-1. With regard to qualifying for the playoffs, this match is equally important to both; neither team in position to absorb another loss.
