WEEK 10 (thru Thursday) 36slaqe
Defenseman Seth Jones is doing everything in his power to keep his Ice Cats team relevant, the late second round draft pick ripping two goals on Thursday; the Cats collecting a league-best 26.0 points to draw to within 61.8 points of 3rd place money.

Central Red Army: 21.0
Ice Cats: 39.7

The Central Red Army received a healthy 10.0 point game from Phil Kessel (2g, 2a) but it wasn’t enough to deflect the Ice Cats 26.0 point onslaught, the Cats now leading this do-or-dead match by 18.7.

Boulder Flyers: 50.4
Bluliners: 31.8

Kris Letang (2g) helped draw his Boulder Flyers team to within 5.8 points of 1st place, the slingshot defender netting 9.0 of his team’s 15.2 points. The Flyers also padded their lead over the Bluliners, the birds now leading this Probert division rumble by 18.6.

SC Cobras: 30.1
Concussion Junction: 29.5

Leading by 17.8 points just yesterday, the SC Cobras saw their lead crumble on Thursday, Concussion Junction shredding Day 4 for 24.2 points, GM Brendan’s Junk now trailing the solicitous snakes by just 0.6.

Ice Hogs: 20.0
Misconducts: 28.6

The Ice Hogs were 1.0 point better than the Misconducts on Thursday, and thus, reduced their deficit by 1.0 point, the 5-4 Hogs now trailing the 6-3 Misconducts by 8.6 heading into a modest four-game Friday.

Wild Ducks: 22.7
Badger Bob: 23.5

Badger Bob is again sliding toward the basement, a league-low 3.0 point effort placing the team in 11th place, just 12.9 steps from the cellar door. The forgettable Thursday also allowed their division rival to creep closer, the Wild Ducks now trailing the Bobs by just 0.8.

Polar Bears: 38.1
Vegas Vipers: 40.8

The Polar Bears rocked the Vegas Vipers on Thursday, GM Elya’s squad outpointing their opponent 15.3 to 7.0. As such, this heated clash was ratcheted up another notch, the Bears trailing by just 2.7 points with three days remaining in the week.
