WEEK 3 (thru Monday) RjYsem0
New-hire Garret Sparks plugged a hole in the Vegas Vipers net on Monday - a hole created by Frederik Andersen’s wonky knee - the 25 year-old netminder posting a 33 save win, his Vipers team once again padding their first place lead.

Vegas Vipers: 8.0
Boulder Flyers: 4.0

Backed by the play of their goaltenders - Sparks and Craig Anderson (37 save win) - the Vegas Vipers doubled the 2nd place Boulder Flyers, GM Miller’s undefeated squad leading the 1-1 Flyers by 4.0.

Badger Bob: 10.0
Ice Hogs: 0.0

GM Chester jumped on the Toronto Maple Leafs bandwagon by signing Kasperi Kapanen to a tryout deal. The signing paid instant dividends as the Auston Matthews linemate netted two goals, Badger Bob collecting 10.0 points in all; the Bobs leading the did-nothing Ice Hogs by 10.0.

Wild Ducks: 3.0
Bluliners: 6.0

This Original Six bout finds the so-far perfect Wild Ducks (2-0) locking horns with the statistically average Bluliners (1-1). After one day the average team is better than the perfect team, the Bluliners skating into Tuesday carrying a 3.0 point lead.

Misconducts: 1.0
Polar Bears: 0.0

Alarms, bells and whistles are once again blaring at Polar Bears headquarters, a nothing Monday dropping the former champion a full 75.8 points behind the first place Vegas Vipers. While not residing in the basement, the Misconducts are lodged in the same dumpy neighborhood, the 10th place team leading this non-divisional tussle by 1.0.

Central Red Army: 0.0
SC Cobras: 5.9

The odds of the winless SC Cobras locating a victory in Week 3 aren’t especially good as they are facing a team that has yet to lose. After Monday the 0-2 Cobras are bucking the odds, the snakes leading the undefeated Central Red Army by 5.9.

Concussion Junction: 2.0
Ice Cats: 2.0

Concussion Junction is also seeking their first win of the season as they faceoff against the Ice Cats and their 1-1 mark. After one day of games there is no separating the two, the Junction and Cats knotted at 2.0 with now, six days remaining in the week.
