WEEK 2 (thru Tuesday) VHzP68n
The Boulder Flyers call for help has been heard loud and clear by Auston Matthews, the 21 year-old sniper with 7 goals and 3 assists in his first four games of the season, his Flyers team comfortably nestled in 2nd place, 8.9 points behind the Vegas Vipers.

Boulder Flyers: 23.0
Ice Hogs: 20.0

With their defense stalled and their goaltender hurting, the Boulder Flyers are relying on their wingers and centers to keep their proverbial head above water. So far so good as the forward crew carded 22.0 points on Tuesday, the effort enough to overtake the Ice Hogs and their 18.0 point Day 2 performance.

Vegas Vipers: 28.0
Concussion Junction: 8.0

The Concussion Junction are feeling concussed after Tuesday, the Vegas Vipers unleashing a league-best 28.0 points on their first year opponent. The Vipers were once again lead by the only line that scores in Dallas - the V-Line - Benn (1g), Radulov (1g, 2a) and Seguin (1g, 3a) combining for 15.0 points.

Bluliners: 27.1
SC Cobras: 6.0

Mike Smith was arguably the best player to don skates on Tuesday, the Bluliners ageless backstop stopping all 43 shots he faced en route a season-best 8.6 point game. The Bluliners netted 15.1 points in all, the 5th place team now 21.1 points better than the head-scratching SC Cobras.

Central Red Army: 9.0
Polar Bears: 8.4

It was a quiet night for both the Polar Bears and the Central Red Army, the Bears netting 4.9; the Army only 4.0. The lack of production dropped GM Buker’s troops into 8th place, now 39.6 behind the league leader. The Bears meanwhile have both paws on the panic button, the team trailing by 65.1 points just a week into the season.

Misconducts: 11.0
Wild Ducks: 15.3

Points were bouncing off the walls on Tuesday but the Misconducts couldn’t get their arms around any - the team beginning and ending the day with the same 11.0 points. The Wild Ducks failed to take full advantage of their opponents dismal points-grabbing effort, a quiet 5.0 point outing providing the Ducks with a 4.3 point lead.

Badger Bob: 7.7
Ice Cats: 15.6

Badger Bob also had trouble locating points on a points-drenched Tuesday, the defending FHL Cup champion netting just 2.0; the team slumping into 10th place overall, 49.8 points back. The Ice Cats were better, a 12.6 point outing providing GM Cutshall’s 7th place team with a 7.9 point lead with five days remaining in the week.
