Leading by 9.2 points with only three days remaining in the week, the Boulder Flyers were envisioning their first victory of the season. John Klingberg seized that dream on Friday, the Bluliners rearguard pocketing a goal and two assists, his first place team now 3.8 points better than the slack-jawed Flyers.

The Bluliners pocketed a league-best 16.0 points, applying a fair amount of hurt to the Boulder Flyers and their chance of finally winning a match. The Flyers aren't the only team in pain - the entire league taking a few steps back - GM Hamilton's on-fire squad now 38.2 points better than the rest.

SC Cobras: 29.9­
The SC Cobras gained a bit of ground on Friday, outpointing the Misconducts 8.0 to 6.0. The elusive win however is still somewhat of a long shot; GM Smalley's squad still leading the no-win snakes by 7.3.

Wild Ducks: 25.7
Central Red Army: 24.2
The Wild Ducks continues to struggle as the staggering team was held to 4.4 points. The Central Red Army however is struggling as well, a 3.0 point outing leaving GM Buker's team 1.5 points behind the Ducks.

Ice Hogs: 35.5
Vegas Vipers: 47.8
The Ice Hogs netted 7.7 points on Friday but couldn't put a dent in their Week 6 opponent, the 4-1 Vegas Vipers now leading the 3-2 Ice Hogs by a firm 12.3 points.

Badger Bob: 43.3
Mooses: 30.6
With the week barreling toward the homestretch, Badger Bob is well on their way to win number four, GM Chester's team leading the eleventh place Mooses by 12.7.

Ice Cats: 16.7
Polar Bears: 24.1­
The Ice Cats practically doubled their score on Friday but the Polar Bears remain on top, a 5.0 point Friday placing the Bears 7.4 points in front of the week-worst Cats.
