Brent Burns continues to put up ridiculous numbers, a 1g, 2a evening (9.0 points) giving the SC Cobras forward-like defender 20 goals and 30 assists for the season; GM Elya the recipient of Monday's burn, his Polar Bears team already sitting in an 11.6 point hole.

While Brent Burns was stealing the headlines the Misconducts quietly scooted to within 0.5 of the first place Ice Hogs, the strong 10.1 point showing also providing GM Smalley with a 2.9 point H2H lead.

The Bluliners doubled up the Ice Hogs on Monday but GM Henry is paying little attention to his H2H opponent; both eyes currently focused on his buckling front door, the Hogs lead now less than an assist.

Day 1 of this Grimson division battle was a bit one-sided, Badger Bob netting 7.0 points, their advantage over the heavily-favored Wild Ducks currently 6.0 points.

The Ice Cats were one of two teams to depart Monday with a bag full of nothing, GM Cutshall's team trailing the Central Red Army by 4.0 points with nine days remaining in the long all-star break week.

Between the Pipes: 0.0
Silicon Valley Slashers: 6.9
With only seven weeks remaining in the H2H season it's now or never for Between the Pipes and their playoff hopes. So far not so good as Monday was more never than now, GM Miller's team already trailing by 6.9 points.
