WEEK 1 (FINAL) YoykXxf
Justin Faulk put the icing on what was a stellar first week, the Ice Hogs defensemen collecting six points (1g, 1a), his team in first place, 12.4 points better than Between the Pipes.

Ice Hogs: 50.7
Boulder Flyers: 32.7

The Ice Hogs are the best of the FHL after the inaugural week. Auston Matthews put the Hogs in front and they never looked back, on top all five days of the week. GM Henry's Probert division squad are now 1-0, defeating the also Probert division Boulder Flyers by a healthy 18.0 points.

Between the Pipes: 38.3
Badger Bob: 34.3

A solid start didn't pay dividends for Between the Pipes last year. GM Miller is hoping to change course in 2016-17, another solid start placing the Pipes in second place in the overall standings. In the Grimson division, Between the Pipes are 1-0. Badger Bob, also a member of the Grimson division, are 0-1. The Bobs closed the first week in 6th place overall, 16.4 points back.

Wild Ducks: 37.2
SC Cobras: 34.5

The Wild Ducks were able to turn back the advances of the SC Cobras, defeating the snakes by 2.7. GM Collard's Grimson division squad are 1-0, tied with Between the Pipes. The Cup-chase standings find the Wild Ducks in 3rd place, 13.5 behind the first place Hogs. The SC Cobras are 0-1, one game back of the Domi division leaders. GM Murphy's team is in 5th place overall, trailing the Hogs by 16.2 points.

Bluliners: 36.1
Ice Cats: 33.0

The Bluliners rallied to defeat the Ice Cats, Rasmus Ristolainen collecting six points (3a) on the final day of the week. The Bluliners are tied for the Probert division lead, sharing the same 1-0 record with the Ice Hogs. Overall GM Hamilton's squad is in 4th place, 14.6 points back. The Ice Cats are 0-1. After five days GM Cutshall finds himself in 7th place overall, 17.7 points shy of first place.

Central Red Army: 32.8
Misconducts: 32.2

Playing with only one goaltender, the Central Red Army had just enough fuel in the tank to defeat the Misconducts, GM Buker's squad improving to 1-0. Overall, the Army are nestled in 8th place, 17.9 points behind the Hogs. The Misconducts are 0-1, one game back in the Domi division. The overall standings find the Misconducts 18.5 points back, GM Smalley's team lodged in 10th place.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 26.9
Polar Bears: 16.2

The Silicon Valley Slashers scored 26.9 points, a number that bettered only one other team. Fortunately for GM Murphy, that team was their H2H opponent, the Slashers defeating the Polar Bears by 10.7 points. The Slashers are 1-0, tied for the Domi division lead. The Crosby-less Polar Bears are already sitting behind the eight ball, the defending FHL Cup champion in last place overall, a stiff 34.5 points behind the league-leading Ice Hogs.

FHL FACT
