| One day after supplanting the Polar Bears, the SC Cobras were rudely pushed aside by the Mark Giordano-infused Bluliners, the four-time FHL Cup champion now the best team in the league.Bluliners: 18.0 Ice Hogs: 32.1Mark Giordano bagged five (1g, 1a) of his teams six points, the in-form Bluliners overtaking both the Polar Bears and SC Cobras on Wednesday. While the view from the top of Mt. FHL is magnificent, GM Hamilton's H2H view is not quite as grandiose, his Bluliners team trailing the now-in-eighth-place Ice Hogs by 14.1. SC Cobras: 14.2 Polar Bears: 10.4Ben Bishop responded to GM Elya's call for help, the Polar Bear backstop netting a 24 save win. With 4.4 points in all, the Bears jumped in front of the SC Cobras but remain in second place, 0.4 points behind the first place Bluliners. H2H-wise, the Cobras still hold the better hand, GM Murphy's 8-7 squad leading the 11-4 Polar Bears by 3.8. Between the Pipes: 10.0 Silicon Valley Slashers: 3.0With only 3.0 points for the week, alarms are beginning to sound at Slashers' headquarters, GM Murphy's fifth place team now 37.2 points back. Between the Pipes are also having trouble locating points, GM Millers team dispatched to ninth place on Wednesday, their hole now 57.6 points deep. Badger Bob: 8.4 Misconducts: 11.8It wasn't a pleasant night for GM Smalley has he watched Sean Monahan bag 7.0 points while seated on the bench. Regardless, the Misconducts are still sitting pretty, leading Badger Bob by 3.4 while still poised to make a run at the title, trailing the first place Bluliners by just 15.4. Central Red Army: 16.1 Wild Ducks: 12.6The Central Red Army are responding well to the new system employed by GM Buker, the refocused squad collecting another 3.0 points on Wednesday - increasing their H2H lead to 3.5. Overall, the Army moved another step closer to daylight, the basementeers now just 21.6 points behind the 11th place Wild Ducks. Boulder Flyers: 18.3 Ice Cats: 9.9In the H2H standings the Ice Cats trail the first place Polar Bears by just one game. With the Bears losing, Cutshall's Cats could end the week on top of the H2H charts. They'll need a "W" to have that chance and thus far the Boulder Flyers are proving uncooperative, GM Morgan's doing-pretty-good squad currently leading by 8.4. LINK: Standings |
