WEEK 11 (thru Saturday) QH2gNBI
The Ice Cats were liking their defense on Saturday, Oliver Ekman-Larsson (2g) and Drew Doughty (1g, 1a) combing for 14.0 of their team’s league-best 24.9 points.

Ice Cats: 24.9
Badger Bob: 6.4

Just when you think the Ice Cats are fading into oblivion, they come roaring back. Such was the case on Saturday as GM Cutshall’s squad ripped 24.9 points, jumping into 7th place overall, now just 61.0 points south of the first place Polar Bears. H2H-wise the sun is shining on the Cats, leading the heavily favored Badger Bob by 18.5.

Polar Bears: 9.0
Redliners: 6.0

This Week 11 H2H match should be easy pickings for the 8-2 Polar Bears as the Redliners made no roster moves on Saturday, leaving an injured player in their lineup. After one day the match is unexpectedly close, the Polar Bears departing the day with 9.0 points and a 3.0 point advantage.

Wild Ducks: 5.8
Misconducts: 8.5

The Misconducts need a win to remain in the chase for the H2H title and it’s $50.00 cash prize. So far so good for GM Smalley as his 6-4 squad currently lead the 2-8 Wild Ducks. With six long days remaining in the seven day week, the Misconducts advantage is 2.7.

Ice Hogs: 13.0
Between the Pipes: 5.0

With a record of 5-5, it’s a must-win week for the defending H2H champion Ice Hogs. Jack Eichel (2g, 2a) did his part, potting 8.0 points to provide his Ice Hogs team with an early 8.0 point lead. Between the Pipes collected a quiet 5.0, GM Millers 6-4 squad slipping to 8th place in the overall standings.

Boulder Flyers: 5.0
SC Cobras: 4.0

The hottest team in the land is locking horns with one of the coldest teams. After one day the cold team is better than the hot team, the Boulder Flyers and their 4-6 mark currently 1.0 point better than the SC Cobras and their 5-5 match record.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 10.4
Bluliners: 11.7

The Silicon Valley Slashers carded the 4th best Saturday score, gaining 1.4 points on the only team better than them in the overall standings. Unfortunately for GM Murphy, his team is doing battle with the team that posted the 3rd best Saturday score, the Bluliners currently nursing a 1.3 lead.

PostSubject: Ice Cats' explosion!!!    WEEK 11 (thru Saturday) EmptySun Dec 27, 2015 3:19 pm

Ice Cats, well earned. A comprehensive performance for sure. Badger Bob goaltender Quick got a win and 2.4 points for yours truly, but allowed the two goals by E-L, which hurt. I was focusing on this game. But a quick look at the other scores revealed a big night for Ice Cats.

Captain Kirk has called Engineer Scott from the bridge to ask about the condition of the engines. Damage control parties are active on all decks.

The possible silver lining for Badger Bob is that the IC explosion occurred on the first day of the period and not the last.

So hoist an IC Light (Iron City Light Beer) produced in Pittsburgh by the Pittsburgh Brewing Company while tipping the Penguins' helmet to Ice Cats.
