| Sniper Tyler Seguin (3g) spearheaded a ruthless Redliners attack, GM Megan's squad hoarding 23.1 on Tuesday, a number that has lifted them to within 29.5 of first place.Redliners: 39.1 Wild Ducks: 18.5A something-to-write-home-about Tuesday has placed the Redliners well in front of the Wild Ducks, GM Megans' team now leading the Duckies by 20.6. In addition to Seguin's numbers, Redliner Sergei Bobrovsky was finally good, the former Vezina winner bagging a 41 save win. The Ducks meanwhile sunk further behind, now a worrisome 60.9 behind the FHL front-runner. Ice Hogs: 22.0 Bluliners: 25.5The Ice Hogs closed the gap on the flatlining Bluliners, now trailing by just 2.5. That good news did little to cheer GM Henry as the ace up his sleeve, Connor McDavid, was injured; an injury that could shelf the first round acquisition for a good chunk of the season. Needless to say, at Ice Hog headquarters, the team flag is currently flying at half-mast. Polar Bears: 26.9 SC Cobras: 31.9A 5.5 Tuesday was enough to keep the Cobras in front of the Bears, GM Murphy's 1-2 outfit now leading the 2-1 Polar Bears by 5.0. The Bears were good for just 2.4 on the fourth day of the seven day week, a number that dropped them into 4th place overall, trailing the Misconducts, Slashers and Bobs. Between the Pipes: 26.9 Silicon Valley Slashers: 28.2An avalanche of points finally fell into the lap of GM Miller. Going all-in on Colorado players hadn't lead to many points. That all changed on Tuesday as Duchene, Landeskog, MacKinnon and Beauchemin combined for 13.0, a number that has the Pipes suddenly relevant in this Belle Tire "Match of the Week." The winless Slashers remain in front however as they were also good on Tuesday, carding a solid 13.2. Misconducts: 36.9 Badger Bob: 24.4John Tavares' illness is making GM Chester sick, his undermanned squad trying to stay close to the first place Misconducts in both this H2H clash and the all-important overall standings. Tuesday brought some comfort to the Badger Bob brass, a 11.3 effort placing them in 3rd place overall, now just 21.9 behind the can-do-no-wrong Misconducts. Ice Cats: 16.0 Boulder Flyers: 18.0This week's junior varsity match finds the last place Boulder Flyers in front of the deflating Ice Cats. Defenseman John Klingberg (2a) is the only player that deserves mention as both teams departed the day with bags covering their heads. The lack of production from the once glowing Cats has dumped GM Cutshall's team into 5th place, now 28.5 from the top spot. LINK: Standings |
