Head-to-Head: Week 5 (FINAL) 610x
Andy McDonald (left) powered his Polar Bears team to victory, depositing two goals on Friday.

POLAR BEARS: 46.9Head-to-Head: Week 5 (FINAL) Check
MISCONDUCTS: 42.2
The Polar Bears are on the board. A good enough Friday proved, well, good enough for the rookie franchise to corral their first win of the season, defeating the last place Misconducts by 4.7. The Bears are now 1-4 overall and sit just two games back of the Gretzky division leaders. The Misconducts, now 0-5, were disappointed with the loss but have taken solace in the fact that they sidestepped the $3.00 penalty, something they have struggled to do since the start of the season.

MOOSES: 65.4Head-to-Head: Week 5 (FINAL) Check
ICE HOGS: 38.3
The Mooses had little trouble with the Ice Hogs as GM McCormick's Howe division squad improved to 3-2 and now sit in second place, just one game back of the division leading Ice Cats. The Brodeurless Ice Hogs meanwhile slumped to 3-2 with the lopsided loss yet still have a foot in first place - tied with The Crosby Show and Bluliners for the Gretzky division lead.

WILD DUCKS: 71.8Head-to-Head: Week 5 (FINAL) Check
SPIDERMEN: 30.4
The Wild Ducks capped a spectacular week with a spectacular Friday as they left the Spidermen (and everyone else) in their dust. GM Collard's finely tuned squad are now just one game back of the Ice Cats in the Howe and better than every team overall. The Spidermen meanwhile were tagged with their first $3.00 penalty as the tracking south franchise fell below .500 with a record of 2-3.

BLULINERS: 36.1Head-to-Head: Week 5 (FINAL) Check
ICE CATS: 31.7
The Ice Cats are perfect no more. The Bluliners didn't have a great week but the week proved good enough to hand GM Cutshall his first loss of the season. With the victory, the Bluliners, 3-2, have vaulted into a tie for first place in the Gretzky yet still trail the league leading Wild Ducks by 46.1. Despite the loss, the Cats can still brag about being the best team in the Howe, their record still excellent at 4-1.

BOULDER FLYERS: 53.1Head-to-Head: Week 5 (FINAL) Check
THE CROSBY SHOW: 33.8
The Boulder Flyers handed a big "L" to The Crosby Show as GM Morgan's franchise rolled to a 19.3 victory. The win has left the 3-2 Flyers in second place in the Howe, just a game back of the suddenly slumping Ice Cats. Despite the loss, the Crosbians, 3-2, are still the cream of the Gretzky, tied with the Bluliners and Hogs for first place, a full game better than the Spidermen.
