Head-to-Head: Week 3 (FINAL) Article_12906_2
The Ice Hogs Teemu Selanne had a beast of a week, collecting another 8.0 on Friday (2g, 2a).

ICE HOGS: 64.1Head-to-Head: Week 3 (FINAL) Check
MISCONDUCTS: 36.8
The now streaking Ice Hogs closed the week on fire, hammering the Misconducts while improving to 2-1 in the Gretzky - good enough for a share of the division lead. The Misconducts, 0-3, are off to the worst start in the history of their franchise as they sit dead last in the Howe division; dead last overall. GM Smalley's bad news bears were also nailed with yet another $3.00 penalty, their second.

WILD DUCKS: 56.5Head-to-Head: Week 3 (FINAL) Check
BOULDER FLYERS: 39.3
The Boulder Flyers took one on the chin as the Wild Ducks had their way with GM Morgan's once red hot squad. The convincing 17.2 win has launched the Ducks into a tie for second in the very competitive Howe division. The race for the coveted FHL Cup is also charged as GM Collard's birds finished the week just 0.1 behind the regrouping, and still (barely) in first place Boulder Flyers.

ICE CATS: 41.6Head-to-Head: Week 3 (FINAL) Check
THE CROSBY SHOW: 37.2
The battle of the undefeated teams was won by the Ice Cats as the best of the Howe defeated the best of the Gretzky by 4.4. GM Cutshall's Cats are now 3-0 overall and stand alone on top of the Howe division. The Crosby Show meanwhile are charting in the opposite direction. After a very promising start the once humming franchise has lost their mojo and now sit in 8th place overall, just 19.7 steps from the dank FHL basement.

BLULINERS: 64.4Head-to-Head: Week 3 (FINAL) Check
MOOSES: 48.1
The Bluliners won going away as GM Hamilton's crew collected their first win of the season, dispatching the Mooses by 16.3. Despite the losing record, the Bluliners, 1-2, are in good shape overall, galloping into 4th place with a rock solid Week 3. The defending champion Mooses meanwhile are drifting south, losing for the second time as they stumbled into 4th place in the Howe division; 7th place overall.

SPIDERMEN: 47.2Head-to-Head: Week 3 (FINAL) Check
POLAR BEARS: 40.5
Both the Spidermen and Polar Bears dodged the $3.00 penalty but the S-Men did it with more grace (and points) improving to 2-1 overall with the 6.7 victory. The sun is shining on GM Schriver's squad as the veteran franchise - co-leaders of the Gretzky division - have clawed their way to within just 16.8 of the league leader. There is however no joy in Polarbearville as GM Elya's misfiring franchise has fallen to 0-3 overall - good (bad) for last place in the Gretzky division; 9th place overall.
