Baba Booey drew first blood in their final-week push to topple the Boulder Flyers and capture their first FHL Cup championship - diminutive sniper Alex DeBrincat netting his 41st goal of the season and 2.0 very important points; the 2nd place Booeys - last years Laughing Bag recipient - drawing to within 25.1 points of what would be a remarkable “Worst to First” campaign.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
With no one dressed on Monday, the Boulder Flyers spent the day battening-down their hatches and boarding their windows; the frantic Flyers bellowing "ALL HANDS ON DECK!" ahead of a stacked 12-game Tuesday. The 3rd place Bluliners were also parked on Monday, the team remaining 49.9 points behind the Cup.

The Bout for the Money
Of the Top-5 teams, Baba Booey was the only franchise to pot a point; the Booeys virtually guaranteed to claim one of the Top-3 payouts ($600, $250 or $120). In 6th place, the Cherry Pickers netted a single point; the team however too far back to be considered. The 7th place Polar Bears collected a Monday-best 5.3 points but the Bears money-hole remains far too deep at 81.7.
