With five players dressed on Monday, the Cherry Pickers were expecting more than 4.0 points; but 4.0 points is what they got, the best H2H team in the league dragging a 3.0 point deficit to Day 2 of this 7-Day semifinal showdown.

Lumberjacks: 2.1­
It’s still plenty early but the Misconducts and their solid start are feeling good about their chances, the Lumberjacks bringing six players to opening day but only departing with 2.1 points; the slow-start Jacks hoping for better as they prepare for a hefty ten-game Tuesday.




Drafted 5th overall, Auston Matthews pocketed his NHL-best 52nd, 53rd and 54th goals of the season; the seemingly unstoppable force carrying the rock-solid Wild Ducks to within 4.2 points of the pudding-solid Boulder Flyers.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
All three FHL Cup contenders moved closer to the top spot, the Wild Ducks (15.0), Bluliners (8.0) and Baba Booey (6.9), all scoring more points than the 1st place Boulder Flyers (6.7); the battle for FHL Cup and it’s $600.00 prize, previously hot, now hotter than ever.

The Bout for the Money
Sitting just outside of the money, Baba Booey took a small step back as they now trail the 3rd place Bluliners (and $120.00) by 15.5 points. The Cherry Pickers and their disappointing 4.0 point effort now trail a money finish by 34.6 points.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
Rocky Rocks was shoved even deeper into the dirt on Monday, a 1.0 point showing leaving the Rocks a full 58.0 points behind the not-worried SC Cobras.
