In late November fans of the Ice Hogs were calling for GM Henry’s head. Today - just five weeks later - those same fans have elevated the Hog Boss to the level of Sainthood; the Hogs in the midst of one of the most remarkable turnarounds in FHL history, the nothing-or-all franchise capping Week 12 with their 5th consecutive win, the week’s best score and their first $10.00 Best Week Bonus.Ice Hogs: 54.6
Bluliners: 31.2After seven weeks the Ice Hogs were 0-7. Today they’re 5-7, and remarkably, just one game shy of the Probert division lead; the Hogs postseason hopes - once stone cold dead - now very much alive. Additionally, the Hogs’ Probert title hopes received a huge boost from the Week 12 results - every other team in the division losing. One of those teams were the Bluiners, GM Hamilton’s squad falling to 5-7 on the year.
Baba Booey: 40.8
SC Cobras: 36.2Baba Booey is the only team in the league to have won eight matches, the Booeys, 8-4, earning that distinction by defeating the Domi division-leading SC Cobras. Even though they won, the Booeys couldn’t expand their lead; GM Carling’s squad still one game better than the Jacks. With their tail between their legs, the SC Cobras will skate into Week 13 with a record of 7-5 - the Cobras, still King of the Domi, seated one game in front of two teams.
Central Red Army: 50.6
Boulder Flyers: 50.0
No goalie starts (and no goalie points) would prove to be the Boulder Flyers undoing, the Flyers falling 0.6 points short of a win. The loss leaves the Flyers with a record of 6-6, the birds still perched on top of the Probert division, one game better than two teams. With the narrow victory the Central Red Army improved to 6-6, GM Buker and his troops drawing to within one game of the Domi division lead.
Misconducts: 35.6
Cherry Pickers: 31.7
The Cherry Pickers were one of the three Probert division teams to get plastered with a loss, GM Recoskie’s squad falling to 6-6 on the year; the Pickers still tied with the Flyers for the Probert lead. The victorious Misconducts leveled their record at 6-6, GM Smalley with Domi division title hopes dashing through his head, his Misconducts team now just one match behind the Cobras.
Lumberjacks: 46.3
Polar Bears: 44.0The Lumberjacks rallied past the Polar Bears on the final day of the week, GM Recoskie’s squad improving to 7-5 with the nail-biting victory. By winning, the Jacks remained one game behind the Grimson-best Booeys. The Polar Bears are one of five teams with a record of 6-6, the mathematically average Bears falling two games behind the Grimson leader.
Rocky Rocks: 49.0
Wild Ducks: 34.8Only one team is seated as far as three games behind their division leader - the Wild Ducks, 5-7, earning that label by losing, the defending H2H champion currently buried in the Grimson division basement. Rocky Rocks meanwhile saw their record swell to 5-7, the Rocks still with plenty of work to do as they sit two games behind the Domi-leading SC Cobras.
