PostSubject: WEEK 12 (thru Saturday)   WEEK 12 (thru Saturday) EmptySun Jan 09, 2022 12:47 pm

WEEK 12 (thru Saturday) 4JKR3dF
The recent play of Jusse Saros has been nothing short of phenomenal, the Ice Hogs early 3rd round draft pick netting 16.2 points in his last four games (4.05 PPG). Once completely out of the race for the FHL Cup and all things H2H, the Hogs are on the verge of winning their 5th consecutive match; the defending champion, remarkably, now a bona fide contender for the 2021-22 FHL Cup championship.

Ice Hogs: 51.6
Bluliners: 31.2

If one team can’t have enough fantasy-good in their life, the Ice Hogs also begin play on Sunday with the week’s highest score, GM Henry one day removed from getting his hands on the $10.00 Best Week Bonus. The hauling Hogs are also a lock to win yet another H2H match, their lead over the Bluliners certified insurmountable at 20.4.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Ice Hogs: 3 players; Bluliners: 0 players)
Ice Hogs: Tyler Bertuzzi, Tyler Seguin, Justin Faulk
Bluliners: None

Baba Booey: 39.8
SC Cobras: 31.6

Baba Booey endured a disappointing Saturday as a measly 4.0 points reduced their first place overall lead to 0.3 points. The saggy Saturday also allowed their opponent to draw back into this H2H match, the SC Cobras with a puncher’s chances after netting 10.3 points; their deficit reduced to 8.2.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Baba Booey: 3 players; SC Cobras: 2 players)
Baba Booey: David Perron, Ivan Barbashev, Torey Krug
SC Cobras: Jason Robertson, Pavel Buchnevich

Central Red Army: 49.6
Boulder Flyers: 49.0

The Colorado-fueled Boulder Flyers erupted for 18.0 points, the league's second best team drawing to within 0.6 points of a come-from-behind win. Suddenly vulnerable, the Central Red Army (11.0 points on Saturday) will be using two Red Wings to protect their slim lead while the Flyers will be relying on a Red Wing and a Roope.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Central Red Army: 2 players; Boulder Flyers: 2 players)
Central Red Army: Dylan Larkin, Moritz Seider
Boulder Flyers: Roope Hintz, Lucas Raymond

Misconducts: 35.6
Cherry Pickers: 30.7

Facing an uphill climb, the Cherry Pickers were hoping to outpoint their opponent on Saturday. Instead, Day 6 was deemed a draw, both teams netting 7.0 points. As such, GM Recoskie’s win-hopes were downgraded to “good luck with that,” the Pickers trailing the Misconducts by 4.9 points with only one player loaded in their Sunday chamber.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Misconducts: 2 players; Cherry Pickers: 1 player)
Misconducts: Kevin Shattenkirk, Jordan Binnington*
Cherry Pickers: Miro Heiskanen
*Start not confirmed at press time.

Polar Bears: 44.0
Lumberjacks: 43.3

The Polar Bears shredded Saturday for 15.0 points, GM Elya’s once out-of-it team now leading the stunned Lumberjacks by 0.7 points. A win however is far from guaranteed, the Jacks dragging possibly two players to the final day of the week while the Bears have no fuel remaining in their Week 12 tank.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Polar Bears: 0 players; Lumberjacks: 2 players)
Polar Bears: None.
Lumberjacks: Jordan Kyrou, Alex Nedeljkovic*
*Start not confirmed at press time.

Rocky Rocks: 44.0
Wild Ducks: 34.8

From the files of “What a Difference a Day Makes,” the Wild Ducks - holding the worst score of the week at the start of play - exploded for a league-best 21.0 points; the Ducks drawing to within 9.2 points of their opponent. That’s as close as they’ll get however as GM Collard has no one dressed on Sunday, Rocky Rocks already with a Week 12 win stuffed in their back pocket.

Rocky Rocks: Joe Pavelski, Troy Terry, Ryan O’Reilly, John Klingberg
