WEEK 8 (thru Thursday) UXsnpzK
Baba Booey is sitting on their biggest lead to date - unheralded winger Ryan Hartman (1g, 2a) guiding the 1st place team to a league-best 18.0 point evening; the barreling Booeys - in quest of their first FHL Cup championship - now 17.0 points better than the rest.

Baba Booey: 34.9
Rocky Rocks: 27.2

Trailing all week, Baba Booey may have finally got a handle on Rocky Rocks, the heavily favored Booeys now leading their huge-underdog opponent by 7.7 points; the Rocks departing Thursday with a goal from Dougie Hamilton (3.0), an assist from Nazem Kadri (1.0), and nothing else.

Boulder Flyers: 36.2
Ice Hogs: 28.3

Derailed on Wednesday, the Ice Hogs returned to the tracks on Thursday - Jonathan Huberdeau (1g, 4a, 11pts) guiding the troubled team to a strong 12.6 point showing; the Hogs still hopeful of corralling their first win of the season as they now trail the Boulder Flyers by just 7.9 points.

Cherry Pickers: 23.7
Lumberjacks: 42.1

An FHL Cup contender for much of the season, the Cherry Pickers are in the midst of a slow fade, a league-worst 2.0 point performance dropping the team into 5th place overall. The points-constipated Pickers also saw their H2H deficit swell, GM Ron now trailing GM Don (and his week-best score) by damn near 20.0.

SC Cobras: 23.3
Bluliners: 31.2

Thanksgiving is over but the Bluliners remain thankful for Aaron Ekblad - the on-fire defenseman (2g, 1a) netting 12.0 of his team’s 15.0 points - the 3rd best team in the league now leading the 4th place SC Cobras by 7.9 points ahead of a typically light five-game Friday.

Central Red Army: 14.0
Polar Bears: 27.5

The Polar Bears are beginning to pull away from the Central Red Army and their week-worst score, defenseman Seth Jones (1g, 1a) guiding the team to a 15.5 point showing; the Bears now leading the disarmed Army by 13.5 points with three days remaining in the week.

Wild Ducks: 27.0
Misconducts: 36.6

One of the hottest players in the league, Kirill Kaprizov (2g, 1a) scored 7.0 of his team’s 16.6 points - the surging Misconducts zipping past the Wild Ducks on Thursday - GM Smalley and his upset-minded squad now leading this non-divisional pairing by 9.6.
