Last night GM Buker was awakened by a loud “THUMP!” - the sound of his team being dumped into the FHL basement, the misfiring Central Red Army now trailing the league’s best team by 50.0 points; their Week 2 H2H opponent (also the league’s best team) by 20.4.

Baba Booey: 17.6
The Boulder Flyers posted a rare double-digit number; the goaltending tandem of Thatcher Demko and Elvis Merzlikins contributing 6.3 of the Flyers 16.3 points, the birds now leading the no-longer-in-last-place Booeys by 7.7.

Bluliners: 25.0
Wild Ducks: 32.1­
The Bluliners nickel-and-dimed their way to a solid 10.0 point evening but they were outperformed by the Wild Ducks; the Ducks and their 11.0 point outing now leading the B's by 7.1.

Ice Hogs: 20.9
The Lumberjacks padded their advantage as they outpointed the Ice Hogs 13.3 to 8.4, the Jacks carrying a relatively heavy 9.4 point lead into a relatively light four-game Friday.

Cherry Pickers: 29.2
Rocky Rocks: 13.0­
Points were abundant on Thursday but Rocky Rocks found none, the struggling franchise with a league-low 13.0 points through Thursday. The Cherry Pickers ain’t complaining, a Kyle Connor (2g, 1a) inspired evening providing the Pick with a huge 16.2 point lead.
