Thanks to the play of J.T. Miller (1g, 2a, 5pts) the Cherry Pickers are standing on the brink of 1st place overall, the 4th round draft pick guiding his team to a league-best Friday, the Pickers bounding to within 4.7 points of the top.

Misconducts: 19.0­
The Misconducts were peppered on Friday, 10.0 points to 1.0, GM Smalley’s squad receiving just one assist from Kirill Kaprizov. As such, the Misconducts have plenty of work to do, the veteran franchise hauling a heavy 14.6 point deficit into Day 5 of the six-day week.

Ice Hogs: 7.3
Bluliners: 26.2­
Forget about “FHL Cup hangover,” league pundits are now beginning to think the Ice Hogs are still drinking, another fruitless (and pointless) evening dropping the 2021 champion 18.9 points behind their H2H opponent - the Bluiners receiving 4.0 of their 7.0 points from Jack Hughes (2g).

Lumberjacks: 38.3
Polar Bears: 27.0­
The 1st place Lumberjacks failed to pot a point on Friday which allowed the Polar Bears to scoot 3.0 points closer, GM Elya using an assist from Seth Jones and a goal from Cam Atkinson to draw to within 11.3 points of an improbable come-from-behind win.

SC Cobras: 36.8
Baba Booey: 12.1
After ripping 23.0 points on Thursday, GM Murphy gave his SC Cobras team the night off.  Given a free swing, Baba Booey mostly swung-and-missed, the second year franchise receiving a goal from Alex DeBrincat and nothing else, the Booey’s hole still extremely deep at 24.7 points.

Rocky Rocks: 24.2
Wild Ducks: 22.3­
Deficit-wise, nothing changed here as both the Wild Ducks and Rocky Rocks netted just 1.0 point. With both team’s bracing for a stormy, possibly tide-turning 14-game Saturday, the Rocks lead remains precarious at 1.9.

Boulder Flyers: 17.4
Central Red Army: 14.5
With only one game on Sunday, the points harvested on Saturday will likely decide the outcome of this match (all of the matches, actually), the Boulder Flyers  - after outpointing the Central Red Army 3.1 to 2.0 - holding onto a slim 2.9 point lead.
