Rocky Rocks was already thinking “win” after their league-best opener but the banged-up Ducks are proving to be a tough nut to crack, the 10-time FHL Cup champion outpointing the Rocks by 8.7 points on Day 2, the Ducks now just 1.3 points behind the best of the FHL.

Ice Hogs: 1.0
Bluliners: 5.2­
It’s far too early to tell, of course, but the Ice Hogs are already displaying signs of “FHL Cup hangover,” the defending champion sitting in dead-last after securing just 1.0 point through the first two days of the season. The Bluliners have taken advantage of the Hogs’ early woes, GM Hamilton and his B's leading by 4.2 after netting 5.2 points on Wednesday.

Lumberjacks: 6.0
Polar Bears: 5.0­
Connor McDavid was held to just two assists in his first game as a Polar Bear - which wasn’t enough to keep the Bears on top of the Jacks - the Lumberjacks and their 5.0 point Wednesday now leading by 1.0 with four days remaining in the six-day week.

SC Cobras: 13.8
Baba Booey: 5.1
Evgeny Kuznetsov and his three assist, 4.0 point outing has provided his SC Cobras with a healthy advantage, the 3rd place Cobras leading Baba Booey by 8.7 points ahead of a heavy nine-game Thursday.

Boulder Flyers: 2.6
Central Red Army: 2.0
The Boulder Flyers have stumbled out of the gate as no fewer than nine players have uncovered just 2.6 points. The Flyers haven’t been good early but the Central Red Army have been worse, a paltry 2.0 point performance dropping GM Buker into a 0.6 point hole.

Misconducts: 4.0­
Michigan native Kyle Connor potted the first of what should be a ton of goals - his Cherry Pickers team outpointing the Misconducts 5.0 to 2.0, GM Recoskie and the Pick hopeful of a win as they cart a 3.6 point lead into the third day of the season.
