Rocky Rocks: 10.0
Wild Ducks: 0.0­
A pairing of two money contenders in 2020-21, the Rocks ultimately falling 12.9 points short of the green while the Ducks landed in 3rd place. The Rocks are already leading by a sizeable margin - and could be leading by far more at weeks end - the ten-time champion Ducks carting a zamboniload of injured starters into Week 1.

Ice Hogs: 0.0
Bluliners: 0.0­
The 2020-21 champion Ice Hogs begin their defense of the FHL Cup against one of the league’s founding fathers. With three Cups, the Hogs will be seeking to take-down the Bluliners; an Original Six franchise with four FHL championships to their credit.

Lumberjacks: 1.0
Polar Bears: 2.0­
The Lumberjacks begin the season with a thorn still lodged in their side, the team falling from 1st place to “out of the money” in the final days of the season. The 2015-16 champion Polar Bears - with Connor McDavid in tow - are hoping to improve on last years hugely disappointing 10th place finish.

SC Cobras: 6.8
Baba Booey: 1.0
With the 2020-21 Laughing Bag seated on their mantel (conveniently hidden behind a framed photo of Justin Trudeau) Baba Booey is gunning for revenge in 2021-22. The SC Cobras meanwhile are hoping for better; the 3rd place team in 2020 spending most of last season in the muddled middle of the pack.

Boulder Flyers: 0.0
Central Red Army: 0.0
The Boulder Flyers narrowly escaped the Laughing Bag last year while the Central Red Army were in the money hunt for most of the Covid-shortened campaign. The Army would falter late, settling for an 8th place finish. The three-time champion Flyers crashed into 11th place.

Cherry Pickers: 2.6
Misconducts: 2.0­
The Cherry Pickers had the FHL Cup ripped from their hands during the final days of 2020-21, the third year franchise determined to right the wrong in 2021-22. The Misconducts meanwhile are hoping to improve on their forgettable campaign, the veteran franchise chasing what would be their 3rd FHL crown.
