The Ice Hogs Martin Brodeur hasn't missed a beat since his return, backstopping a 35 save shutout on Friday.

ICE HOGS: 45.0Head-to-Head: Week 23 (FINAL) Check
BLULINERS: 43.3
A 16.0 Friday drove a dagger into the heart of the Bluliners money winning hopes as the Ice Hogs rallied to claim their 17th win of the season. The improbable victory left GM Henry's team with a tie for the best record in the league, their season mark now 17-6. Leading most of the week, the stunned Bluliners are now a long shot to finish in the money as they have fallen two games behind the Crosby Show with only three weeks remaining in the season.

WILD DUCKS: 85.3Head-to-Head: Week 23 (FINAL) Check
MISCONDUCTS: 65.5
The Wild Ducks sucked the wind out of the Misconducts sail as GM Collard's team improved to 17-6 with the 19.8 drubbing. With the win - and a three game lead - the Wild Ducks have claimed at least a share of the Howe division title. Meanwhile, the Misconducts were dumped three games back of the 2nd place Boulder Flyers. For GM Smalley to take home Howe cash, his Misconducts will have to win their last three games of the season; the Flyers would have to lose their final three.
EDITORS NOTE: "The Wild Ducks sucked the wind out of the Misconducts sail" marks the only time this year that "Wild Ducks" and "sucked" has been used in the same sentence.

BOULDER FLYERS: 76.6Head-to-Head: Week 23 (FINAL) Check
MOOSES: 33.0
One monster day has turned the Boulder Flyers season around as GM Morgan's franchise were resurrected mid-week, claiming their 14th win of the season and at least a share of 2nd place in the Howe division. The defending champs resurrection never occurred as the fallen franchise now occupy two FHL basements - the damp cellar of the Howe division and the rat-infested basement of the overall standings. The $3.00 penalty was their fourth.

POLAR BEARS: 52.9Head-to-Head: Week 23 (FINAL) Check
ICE CATS: 50.3
The Ice Cats ripped 13.9 on Friday but their rally fell short as the Polar Bears hung on to claim their third straight win. Their season once in disarray, GM Elya's streaking Bears are now just one step shy of exiting the Gretzky division basement. The loss was especially hurtful to the Howe division Ice Cats who fell three games behind the Boulder Flyers in the race for 2nd place cash. With only three weeks remaining in the season, only a minor miracle would land GM Cutshall in the green.

THE CROSBY SHOW: 75.1Head-to-Head: Week 23 (FINAL) Check
SPIDERMEN: 56.1
The Crosby Show continue to impress as they butchered a very good Spidermen team, collecting 75.1 to win by 19.0. The victory - combined with the Bluliners loss - has left the 12-11 Crosbo's with a firm two game lead in the race for 2nd place in the Gretzky. The Spidermen played very well but their efforts fell short as GM Schriver's Gretzky division team lost sight of an FHL payday - their 8-15 record placing them four games back of 2nd place.
