WEEK 12 (thru Thursday) NJaS4JB
Defenseman John Carlson was greased and gassed on Thursday as the sixth overall draft pick netted two goals and 9.0 points, his sizzling Central Red Army team tracking toward a crucial, postseason-life-or-death victory as they now lead the Misconducts by 8.1 points.

Misconducts: 24.9
Central Red Army: 33.0

Trailing all week, the Central Red Army now find themselves in front of the Misconducts, GM Buker and his Army skating into the final three days of Week 12 with confidence; a final three days that begins with a calm-before-the-storm six-game Friday.

Polar Bears: 37.3
Ice Hogs: 21.5

The Polar Bears posted a solid 7.2 points, increasing their lead over the stuck-in-the-mud Hogs. It could have been much worse for the Ice Hogs as Mathew Barzal (3g, 2a) blew-up the Bears bench. Asked about the benching of Barzal at the post-Thursday press conference, a representative of the Polar Bears organization said GM Elya would issue a statement as soon as he sobers up.

Lumberjacks: 30.1
Boulder Flyers: 19.2

The Boulder Flyers extracted just 1.0 point from Thursday. As a result the Flyers chances of defeating the second best team in the league were downgraded from “if you’re lucky” to “have you ever considered another profession,” the smiling Lumberjacks now leading the frowning Flyers by 10.9.

Cherry Pickers: 25.8
Baba Booey: 18.0

Defenseman Miro Heiskanen (1g) potted 3.0 of his team’s 6.0 points as Baba Booey kept pace with the Cherry Pickers and their 6.0 point effort. “Keeping pace” however isn’t going to cut-it the Booey’s hope to keep their very-slim playoff hopes alive, the team trailing by 7.8 points with three days remaining in the week.

Wild Ducks: 27.1
SC Cobras: 22.1

The Wild Ducks were leading by 7.0 points after Monday. Since then the two teams have been more-or-less equal - which suits GM Collard and his win-hopes just fine, the Ducks and their 6.1 point Friday now leading the SC Cobras by 5.0.

Rocky Rocks: 25.2
Bluliners: 16.1

Rocky Rocks has blown open what was once a close match - the Rocks pelting the didn’t-budge Bluliners 9.5 to 0.0 on Day 4 - GM Rocky hopeful of securing an all-important victory as his focused team now leads the unfocused Bluliners by 9.1.
