WEEK 9 (FINAL) Wy5N3CH
Drake Batherson couldn't contain his youthful enthusiasm when asked what he thought of his team’s Week 9 performance - the 22-year-old forward capping the Misconducts season-best week with two goals of his own; the Misconducts - in 8th place and 29.2 points back at the start of the week - now sitting alone in 1st place, 13.0 points clear of the competition.

Misconducts: 90.0
Ice Hogs: 51.4

Holy hell. What a week for the Misconducts - the gaudy Week 9 number gifting GM Smalley 1) first place overall; 2) H2H win; 3) record of 6-3; 4) share of the Yankee division lead; 5) $10.00 best-week bonus; 6) best-week score of the year (another $10.00); 7) trip to Disney World. The defenseless Ice Hogs took a meaty punch to the chin (and cheek, forehead, ribs, gut and groin), the punch-drunk Hogs falling to 5-4 on the year, now one game back of two Yankee division foes.

Boulder Flyers: 39.0
Bluliners: 37.9

Playing the role of “H2H Spoiler” over the final seven weeks of the H2H regular season, the Boulder Flyers job is to anger playoff-hopeful GM’s. “One down and six to go” were the post-week comments of GM Morgan, his Boulder Flyers team - with the upset win - putting a crimp in the previously fluid playoff hopes of the Bluliners. The Flyers win/loss record is now a slightly less embarrassing 2-7. The Bluliners stumbled to 5-4; the toiling team falling two games behind the Canuck division leader.

Wild Ducks: 56.2
Central Red Army: 56.0

A tight battle all week, the Wild Ducks held on to defeat the fast-closing Central Red Army; the Ducks improving to 6-3 with the phew-win. Heading into Week 10 of the 15 week H2H regular season, GM Collard is sitting pretty; his team perched atop the Yankee, tied with the Misconducts. The Central Red Army had a chance to retain a share of the Yankee lead but now sit one game back, GM Buker and his disappointed troops, 5-4, still very much in the chase for postseason play.

Rocky Rocks: 55.3
Baba Booey: 36.6

This pivotal battle of 4-4 teams was won by Rocky Rocks - the Rocks never in danger of losing as they outgunned Baba Booey by 18.7 points. The victory was huge for GM Rocky, his in-form team now sporting a winning record of 5-4; the Rocks tied for second place in the Canuck. The Booey’s playoff chances took a sizeable hit but the team remains in the postseason hunt; GM Carling’s squad, 4-5, falling three games behind the division lead but just one game in back of the playoffs.

Cherry Pickers: 53.3
Lumberjacks: 48.8

The Cherry Pickers stopped the H2H bleeding by dispatching the pesky Lumberjacks, the second-year franchise improving to a league-best 7-2 overall; their Canuck division lead still comfortable at two games. The Lumberjacks had a chance to claim a winning record, but now find themselves (again) with a losing record; the Jacks, 4-5, falling three games behind the division-best Pickers; their playoff chances downgraded from “likely” to “less likely.”

SC Cobras: 37.0
Polar Bears: 35.5

The Polar Bears mad dash to the finish line just fell short of a win, a strong 8.7 point closer leaving GM Elya with a difficult-to-swallow, playoff-crushing 1.5 point defeat - a loss that hands GM Elya a 2-7 record, a set of golf clubs and a tee time at FHL Meadows. By edging the Bears, the SC Cobras retained their slim hope of qualifying for the playoffs, GM Murphy and his Cobras now 3-6 on the year; three games behind the Yankee division leaders.

WEEK 10
Central Red Army v. Ice Hogs
SC Cobras v. Misconducts
Wild Ducks v. Polar Bears
Baba Booey v. Lumberjacks
Bluliners v. Cherry Pickers
Rocky Rocks v. Boulder Flyers
