Defender Duncan Keith kept his Ice Hogs out of Penaltyland, securing two assists on Friday.THE CROSBY SHOW: 55.9ICE HOGS: 43.1By defeating the Ice Hogs, the Gretzky division Crosby Show are still in the money as the 11-11 squad remains the sole owner of 2nd place. The Ice Hogs struggled for most of the week but still managed to sidestep the $3.00 penalty, stumbling to 16-6 with the loss.
POLAR BEARS: 54.5WILD DUCKS: 50.7Don't look now but the Polar Bears are riding a two game winning streak. GM Elya's latest victory was most unlikely as his never-throw-in-the-towel Bears rubbed out the best team in the land. Meanwhile, all is still well with the Wild Ducks, despite the loss, as the 16-6 franchise remains in full control of all things FHL.
MISCONDUCTS: 56.6BOULDER FLYERS: 39.6This was a must-win for the Misconducts and win they did, erasing the Boulder Flyers in this pivotal Howe clash. GM Smalley's squad is now 11-11, just two games behind the Flyers in the race for 2nd place cash. On the flip side, the Boulder Flyers nose dive continues as the slumping franchise was slapped with their first $3.00 penalty of the season.
ICE CATS: 65.7MOOSES: 46.2The Ice Cats have flown under the radar is recent weeks, but GM Cutshall's team is still relevant as they improved to 11-11. The Cats, like the Misconducts, are just two games shy of a season-ending payday. The Mooses on the other hand have nothing to brag about. The defending champs, now 8-14 overall, remain securely lodged in Howe's crappy basement.
BLULINERS: 55.2SPIDERMEN: 42.1The Bluliners improved to 10-12 with this all important win. With four weeks remaining in the season, GM Hamilton's Gretzky division squad trail the Crosby Show by just one game in the race for 2nd place. The loss did tons-O-damage to the Spidermen's money chances, but they're still mathematically alive as they trail the Crosbo's by three games.
