While Lumberjacks management has taken issue with angry fans suggesting the team name be changed to “Lumberhacks,” the men in charge do understand their frustration; the first-year franchise currently in disarray as they sit in 11th place overall. The H2H picture also isn’t especially bright, the Lumberjacks, 1-2, trailing the smirking Cherry Pickers by 20.9 points.

The Wild Ducks were the best Friday team, defenseman Brent Burns (1g, 1a) guiding the team to a 10.0 point evening, GM Collard’s squad now leading the misfiring Central Red Army by 12.0 points; the Ducks overall advantage inflating to 4.2.

Boulder Flyers: 38.1­
Brushing off the dust after being bombed by the Bluliners on Thursday, the Boulder Flyers outpointed their longtime foe 4.5 to 2.7 on Friday - the Flyers still in the chase for a hugely-needed victory as they trail the Bluliners by 8.3.

Baba Booey: 42.5
Rocky Rocks: 39.3
Baba Booey was the only team to register a point on Friday, a David Pastrnak assist padding the team’s advantage slightly - the Booey’s now leading Rocky Rocks by 3.2 points ahead of a Covid-compromised six-game Saturday.  

SC Cobras: 46.6
Polar Bears: 47.4
This match is not only a battle for a H2H win, but also a battle for the $10.00 week-best bonus, the red-hot SC Cobras - by netting 4.0 points on Friday - drawing to within 0.8 points of the red-hot Polar Bears.
