WEEK 17 (thru Saturday) DOwEtUM
Seemingly out of nowhere, the thought-to-be down-and-out Polar Bears - trailing by 19.3 points - roared back into their match with the heavily-favored Wild Ducks, defenseman Torey Krug (2g, 2a, 15pts) carrying his team to a thunderous 26.0 point Saturday, the brawny Bears now leading the dazed Ducks by 0.7.

Wild Ducks: 42.5
Polar Bears: 43.2

With very little to play for the basemented Polar Bears donned their “Spoiler” cap on Saturday, GM Elya’s smirking team now inexplicably positioned to put a huge dent in the Wild Ducks chances of finishing with the best H2H record and a first round playoff bye.

Bluliners: 47.7
Central Red Army: 81.1

The Central Red Army’s assault on Week 17 continued on Saturday as rookie defender Quinn Hughes (2g, 9.0 pts) powered his team to a league-best 29.8 point showing, the guns-blazin’ Army in full control of their must-win match, leading the blue Bluliners by 33.4.

Ice Hogs: 48.6
Cherry Pickers: 36.5

The Ice Hogs (11.0) bettered the Cherry Pickers (9.0) by 2.0 points on Saturday, GM Henry’s league-best H2H team now just a day removed from a crucial intra-division win, the Hogs carrying a heavy 12.1 point lead into a light three-game Sunday.

Ice Hogs: Sebastian Aho, Max Domi, Nicklas Backstrom, Jeff Petry

Vegas Vipers: 33.2
Badger Bob: 41.3

David Pastrnak achieved a career-high in “goals scored” by depositing puck No. 38 on Saturday. That tally combined with two assists helped place Badger Bob in-line for an all-important Grimson division victory, the Bobs now leading the were-leading Vegas Vipers by 8.1.

Misconducts: 40.7
SC Cobras: 53.0

The SC Cobras (11.6 points) were good enough on Saturday as they again separated themselves from their Domi division rival, the caustic Cobras now 12.3 points better than the wavering Misconducts.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Misconducts: 3 players; SC Cobras: 4 players)
Misconducts: Bo Horvat, Jakub Vrana, John Carlson

Boulder Flyers: 41.9
Rocky Rocks: 39.3

With only 6.8 points the Boulder Flyers sputtered their way through Saturday. To the relief of GM Morgan, Rocky Rocks also did their fair share of sputtering, a modest 9.5 point Day 9 leaving the Rocks in a 2.6 point divot.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Boulder Flyers: 2 players; Rocky Rocks: 3 players)
Boulder Flyers: Andrei Svechnikov, Zach Werenski
Rocky Rocks: T.J. Oshie, Brock Boeser, Bryan Rust
