After ripping 32.0 points on Thursday the Ice Hogs used Friday to catch their breath, the did-nothing Hogs leading the also did-nothing Wild Ducks by the same 14.6 points with now, only two days remaining in the week.

The SC Cobras doubled-up the Boulder Flyers on Day 5, defenseman Filip Hronek (2a) pacing the team’s 6.0 point effort, the surging Cobras now trailing the vulnerable Flyers by just 2.6 points.

This all-important battle of 3-11 teams is bearing the label “toss-up” after Rocky Rocks carded 4.0 points, Bryan Rust (1g, 1a) helping to place the Rocks just 0.8 points in back of the Friday-stalled Polar Bears.
