WEEK 8 (thru Tuesday) Empty

WEEK 8 (thru Tuesday) GXIGKQ1
The Art Ross trophy recipient in 2015, Jamie Benn was unceremoniously dragged to the curb in Week 6. Keen-eyed trash collector GM Hamilton scooped-up the 30 year-old and was immediately rewarded, Benn (2g, 1a) netting 7.0 points in his first game with the Bluliners; the on-fire B’s moving into 5th place overall with their sterling 19.1 point effort.

SC Cobras: 10.1
Bluliners: 21.1

Jamie Benn is apparently no has-been, to which GM Murphy and his SC Cobras can attest, the slower-starting snakes already facing a steep uphill slither, trailing the Bluliners by 11.0 points.

Badger Bob: 21.7
Cherry Pickers: 9.7

Led by none other than Brad Marchand (3a) and David Pastrnak (2g), Badger Bob had the best Tuesday tally, a firm 21.7 point showing placing GM Chester well ahead of this opponent, the Jersey Bobs already leading the Cherry Pickers by 12.0.

Wild Ducks: 14.0
Misconducts: 12.0

Traded and then reacquired by the Wild Ducks after he was trashed, Pierre-Luc Dubois appears no worse for wear, the well-traveled 21 year-old carding 7.0 points (2g, 1a), the Wild Ducks and their 11.0 point Tuesday leading the Misconducts by 2.0.

Ice Hogs: 6.8
Boulder Flyers: 13.8

There was very little squealing on Tuesday as the Ice Hogs uncovered just 3.6 points. The Boulder Flyers didn't make a ton of noise but they were noticeably better than their opponent, Connor Hellebuyck’s 10th win powering the Flyers to a 13.8 point showing and an early 7.0 point lead.

Vegas Vipers: 17.5
Rocky Rocks: 11.5

Riding the back of Anders Nilsson and his 35 save victory, the Vegas Vipers bolted into 9th place in the overall standings, the former cellar-dweller netting 17.5 points in all, their lead over the rocking Rocks currently 6.0 points.

Central Red Army: 10.5
Polar Bears: 10.7

The only match of the week in which the difference in points involves a decimal (not especially noteworthy, but odd nonetheless) the underdog Polar Bears lead the underperforming Central Red Army, GM Elya’s advantage 0.2 points heading into a light 2-game Wednesday.
