WEEK 26 (thru Monday)

His worth amplified with the injury to Victor Hedman, defenseman Mikhail Sergachev was quickly snatched up by GM Smalley - the 20 year-old Russian signed to a six day contract on Monday. The shrewd acquisition paid instant dividends as Sergachev collected a goal, an assist and 6.0 points; his new, and red-hot 4th place Misconducts team drawing to within 1.5 points of the money.

The Bout for the Money
As if things weren’t interesting enough, the 2nd place Boulder Flyers stumbled through Monday; a league-worst 2.8 points allowing all the money chasers to skate closer. Heading into a very fat 10-game Tuesday, the Flyers $325.00 lead over the 3rd place Vegas Vipers was reduced to 15.3. The Misconducts trail $175.00 by 1.5; 2nd place by 16.8. Very quiet of late, the Polar Bears are still hot on the heels of the loot, the 5th place squad just 6.2 points back after depositing 9.0 on Day 1 of the season-ending 6-day week.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
Knowing they only have to collect a handful of points to lockdown the FHL Cup, the Wild Ducks were smitten with Monday, a strong 11.4 point effort essentially putting an end to the pipedream of every title contender.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
There are only five days remaining in the season and the Bobs deficit is 31.6. Can Badger Bob catch Concussion Junction?  Yes, of course. Will they? It doesn’t look like it.
