The Bout for the Money
With only 8 days remaining in the season, a goal, an assist, or even a save could be the difference between skating away with a zamboniload of money and skating away with nothing. That fact evidenced by the Friday goings-on, the previously out-of-it Flyers now in 2nd place; the Vegas Vipers dispatched to 3rd and the Polar Bears - struggling mightily - booted into the no-money slums of 4th place.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
The Boulder Flyers trailed the Wild Ducks by 79.2 points just 24 hours ago. Today their deficit is just 57.2 points. Can the Flyers make up the remainder of the ground in just 8 days? Probably not - but league executives won’t cop to that as the FHL is currently in the midst of a ratings period - and the league needs the ratings. So yes, of course the Flyers can catch and pass the Wild Ducks. Just watch.
