Another victorious sprint to the finish line could be in the cards for the Vegas Vipers, the previously losing-by-a-lot franchise on the verge of another miraculous come-from-behind win, the Vipe trailing the suddenly nervous Ice Hogs by just 5.6.

Boulder Flyers: 39.7­
“Holy hell,” thought GM Morgan upon learning that Jonathan Marchessault (3g) and Aaron Ekblad (1g, 1a) had lead the Ice Cats to a league-best 21.0 point Saturday, the previously comatose Cats now within feather-plucking distance of the wings-fluttering Flyers.

SC Cobras: 27.0­
The Fat Lady is screaming at the top of her lungs after the SC Cobras were held to a single point on an otherwise point-prodigious Saturday, the rapidly sinking snakes now trailing the rapidly rising Polar Bears by 38.1.

Badger Bob: 38.1
Concussion Junction: 40.1
The Battle of the Basement will be decided on the final day of the week, Concussion Junction with the inside track after netting 11.1 points on Saturday, GM Brendan’s 11th place Junk leading the 12th place Bobs by 2.0.

Bluliners: 44.7
Misconducts: 35.2­
The Misconducts were good on Saturday but they weren’t good enough - the Bluliners outpointing GM Smalley’s squad 17.7 to 13.8 - GM Hamilton’s tenacious team now leading this duel by 9.5.

Wild Ducks: 46.4
Central Red Army: 54.9
The Wild Ducks erased a portion of their deficit on Saturday but it barely dented the thick armor plating of the Central Red Army’s lead, GM Buker still firmly entrenched as both teams gear-up for a week-ending 5-game Sunday.
